   The lion kingdom never needed so much help in 1 day.  Mortality giveth in the form of a once in a lifetime aurora over Calif* & mortality taketh the next day in the form of pretty serious overheating.  All must be in balance. Reviewing the HAM radio exam, it's obvious that the mane purpose of HAM radio licensing is to keep the airwaves from getting packed, the same way yosemite requires permits to hike most anywhere nowadays.  The exam is long & hard.  The good news is the exam is 1 time only, as long as you renew within 2 years of every 10 year expiration so that's 3 renewals for lion age.  There's no smith chart on the test either. There's an online version which entails configuring zoom with screencap, video, & audio support.  You have to pan around the room.  They examine the video & screencap to look for cheating.  It's probably the way job interviews are going to go.  There's an in person exam on Oct 20 8am 1 mile from the apartment.    Finally watched Top Gun in HD, 6 years after downloading it.  It got on the hard drive in 2018, when news of the sequel rounded the internet.  Then the sequel was delayed many years.
