The gap in compensation between top tier & lion day jobs has gotten pretty extreme over the last 5 years. Even entry level Goog positions get over $200k total. They're getting high 200's to high 400's in total, including a 50% 401k match, 5 figures in stonk options every year. Most of them are now crossing $1M in net worth by 8 years. In another 8 years, there are going to be a lot of multimillionaires hunting for houses outside Calif*, but probably not rich enough to retire anymore. It's almost enough to try applying again & deal with commuting or paying more in rent. It would be a final hurrah. Doubt lions would ever get considered after 50, in today's economy. They have also had more layoffs. The lion day job has downsized through attrition only, so far. That's roughly equal to the current 4.3% treasuries before annual taxes. That's still with the index 10% below all time highs. Theoretically, positions like this could give equivalent short term gains as bonds with the long term advantage of stonk but they have to be bought well below all time highs to get such a short term gain. The 100% stonk multi millionaire commenters disappeared as fast as a blockchain startup in the last 4 months. Now, all the commenters are receiving some kind of pension, usually government. 1st 28 miler which didn't encounter cramping. It's been a 15 year battle. The trick with thai amerikan hybrid lions seems to be bombing them with water & trusting the tablets. They're going to dump most of the sodium overboard & make you think you're diluting out, but they're really keeping enough in. You just have to stay 5 miles ahead of the hydration, never let them dry out. Whatever it's going to feel like in 5 miles is what you're addressing now. That took 5 16oz bottles.
