Suspect the santa clause rally began 4 months early this year because there's no other place to put money. Cash is about to nose dive with interest rates soon going back to the underworld.
Chatgpt is promoting a policy disconnect where banks borrow at the future 2% fed funds rate to buy long dated bonds at the higher market rate. It seems to miss the idea of increased demand from banks pushing down long term yields.
It's probably a copy of an uncredited internet source. There's no longer any way to cross reference an author or find any context for an internet search result, since they're all being mutilated without any sources.
The world’s favorite holding company Berkshire Hathaway makes a charitable donation of stonk every year, totaling $60B so far. In 2025, it was $6B. Upon Warren’s death, $152B of the company stonk will go to charity over 10 years. What they do with the shares is unknown. They could be burning it all on general aviation or they could be keeping it invested in BRK & living off capital gains.
It made lions ponder if their destiny is to give it all to charity. The thought of animal rescue occurred.
The rapidly rising 401k millionaires & stonk market are caused by of the end of pensions, social security, & defined benefit plans. Instead of a recycling corporate earnings & taxes back into benefits, all that money is turning into giant passive income funds.
Note lions began receiving more job leads than job seekers in their spam, in the last month, after years of just getting desperate scrum masters.
Chatgpt emphasized an important concept in 1 of the many chatgpt retiretube videos, manely everyone has to trade luxury for cost when they retire, no matter how rich they are. Despite the smallest possible apartment, it is luxurious because it doesn't require a car & because the weather is perfect all year. Car independence & weather are what's going to have to be sacrificed to reduce cost.
Retireearly500k revealed he doesn't live in the middle of nowhere full time. He lives in his girlfriend's more luxurious accommodations in LA 50% of the time. Full time at lake Isabella is not worth the squeeze. Noted the same part time arrangement in Wonder Hussy's Tecopa videos, Bordenaro's FL videos, Greenspun's summer travels. Most animals are only lowering their cost of living 50% of the time while continuing to pay for luxury or lean on others the other 50%. Most animals are not willing to tolerate full time extreme weather & remoteness in order to retire.

Had another spacex dream. Had to fix something keeping a raptor engine from starting. Someone was saying it was easier to come in at night to avoid traffic.

Today's walnut crusher featured the worst bowel movement in over a decade. Had to stop twice. Got the start of a 3rd, after mile 26, but it just went away on its own. They seemed to be more manageable while running than walking.
There was a polish sausage 24 hours earlier & a honey mustard pretzels 5 hours earlier. There weren't any bowel movements in the previous 24 hours. Suspect neither food was a good match.
The deep ankle pain which formerly went away with protein supplements returned in the last 2 weeks & progressively worsened. It was possibly related to dropping the metronome in the long efforts or attempting a long run in 12mm sandals. Restarting after the 2nd bowel movement was a definite low point. It finally degraded enough to have to slow down to 9.5 min/mile. Looks like the MCM is going to be a fun run.
There probably needs to be only 1 more long effort. There could be another sub 20 miler on the 13th & a walnut crusher on the 26th, leaving 4 recovery weeks.
It lions ever break 4 hours, it's going to have to be at least an 800ft downhill, which would replicate the walnut crusher's downhill grade.
Lions don't believe padded shoes would matter in a marathon effort. They might aid short walks.

Thoughts of buying a new camera returned. DJI seems to have abandoned its mini cameras while gopro has released mini versions of select cameras, taking away features over time. The gopro 13 mini doesn't support timelapse, 4:3, or in-camera stabilization. It would require gyroflow.
The DJI action 2 was their last mini camera. It's super expensive.
Insta360 seems to have taken over the smallest cameras & they're super expensive.
The 11 mini does support all the necessary features. Its battery life is shorter than what lions have dealt with.
It would have to be torn apart to remove the battery but it's cheap. It's not user serviceable. The heat sink is attached to the plastic case by an adhesive tongue & groove. Others have ground through the joint or managed to get the adhesive hot enough on a hot plate or printing bed from 81C to 120C. It might be possible to grind a starter hole into the top right corner & pry the rest off with heat. Lions have a hot plate but have been too scared to use it.
It uses DRM. The battery chip has to be connected to turn it on. Then you're running a cable out the bottom.
The last gopro arrived 6 years ago, so it's not splurging.
