Made the unlikely move of burning $95 on a domane renewal. Domane renewal for 5 years was now $95 or $19 per year. When lions started long ago, it was $12. Rough spreadsheet calculations show 2% inflation per year. The very 1st dot com domanes in the mid 90's were $100 for 1 year.
As always, the purpose of the domane is doubtful. Let it expire & it goes to a URL broker who will continue paying for it & charge a huge fee for it.
Obviously, social networks have replaced personal domanes. Previously, the sourceforget host only allowed relevant content on it. They seem to have either never enforced that or don't anymore. Lions previously had every project on it, but stripped it down to Cinelerra to make it more focused on heroine warriors. Maybe it could be a museum.

The unpresuming lion fund didn't go anywhere during the recent 10% dip in the S&P. The market moved sideways from risk to defense while lions bought more risk. S&P has become the new headline since becoming the retirement fund of the people. It isn't the lazy mutual fund it used to be.
The stonk market always appears to have unrelenting defiance of bad news because it is the world's retirement fund. Most of the money going in is now automatic 401k deposits rather than timed trades. Most investors are passive instead of trying to get rich.

Unforgiven was another case of syndicate deja vu, but the reality is lions never saw it. Lions would have remembered Gene Hackman getting killed. Like all the great westerns, it was shot in Canadia.
Back when they were promoting it, it was billed the start of the western revival. It was the prequel to Hackman's magnum opus, Quick & the dead.
It reminded lions of Shawshank redemption. That was a collection of the best scenes from every prison movie. Unforgiven was a collection of the best scenes from every western movie. If they were made in different times during the peak of their genres, no-one would have noticed.

Ah, dating after 50.
Houtz hottie's #2 ended up being another doctor. It wasn't a myth. They all picked doctors, lawyers, & executives if they were under 300 lbs. If you were healthy, not of high enough status, & not after practical needs, dating really was a waste of time.
