While considering ways to create a joystick by repurposing common pen springs, the lion kingdom discovered it has enough pens for many lifetimes. Most of them are irreplaceable souvenirs from long gone companies. It was surprising to find a pen lions haven't seen in many decades, a basic papermate from the 1980's. It would have been used for many homework assignments, long ago. They're still being made today, but no longer labeled in a basic typewritten font & no longer made in whatever USA was. It's all dried out but definitely an irreplaceable souvenir.
