A key piece of lost source code was found. Manely, it contains a stripped JPEG decoder in pure Java, a blob detection algorithm, & a way of rapidly drawing a bitmap. There's no video of it running. It used to drive to an optical code, scan for the next code with the camera & drive to that. Finally finished Dune 1. No really novel visuals. The worm redesign was sort of intriguing. The mom was a hottie. The guy with the mane got killed. There should have been a romance between mane man & mom after the dad got killed. It got really dragged on & washed out for generation Z audiences. Generation X Dune vs Generation Z Dune.

Painful examples of lost source code which have grown in the last 10 years.  The lion kingdom often loads a directory where something was & finds files missing.  A much coveted UDP version of countreps was gone.  A 12 bit version of a shutter program was gone.  Part of the problem is filesystem corruption.  Some of it might be accidental deletion.  Sometimes when hard drives are replaced, the complete contents aren't copied.  Then the old hard drive is erased. The UDP version of countreps captured video from a tablet camera, compressed it with a JNI version of ffmpeg, & sent the MPEG4 to a GPU server.  It might have simply used ffmpeg-kit with pipes.  The tablet showed a live camera preview with computed skeletons from the GPU server on top of it. The lion kingdom has lost many pieces of source code since childhood.  The 1st 20 years are gone but didn't matter.  After age 20, the projects started getting more useful & the losses started getting expensive.  Home pr

The most essential part of making Android somewhat usable. It only took 15 years for them to get it right , but at least all their employees can write a stack function on a white board in 5 minutes. . The latest phone has 64 & 32 bit libraries in parallel. All raspberri pys from the 3 on can run in 64 bit mode. The 64 bit version of raspian is hidden https://downloads.raspberrypi.org/raspios_arm64/images/ No-one knows exactly how much works. It's apparently where Linux was 20 years ago in 64 bit support. The lion kingdom seems to remember moving permanently to 64 bits in 2005, with a dual opteron. Before then, it was briefly 64 bit with an alpha. The rest was always 32 bits on a dual pentium 3 & dual athlon. The memory limitations grew as more photos were processed in RAM & video resolutions grew. Programs would run out of virtual memory before the physical memory ran out, because they couldn't address enough bits. 64 bits seems essential for video editin

What a difference a few pounds make in the size of the wedding ring & the cost of the apartment.   So the mane's holiday nectar, Johnsonville bratwurst, went from $4 to $7 in the last year & the lion kingdom didn't have the budget anymore.  Just as many are sold now at $7 as there were a year ago at $4.   Even if the lion kingdom had 3x its income, it would not really want to spend above & beyond in extravagant accommodations just for the sake of having sex.  It would just retire sooner.  Lions have always believed in doing the least amount of effort necessary to survive.

Evolution of an infinitely funded government contract.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yc8yHGvviY8 Kind of annoying how she repeatedly refers to her husband as her "partner".  Behind Calif*'s liberal facade, there's a hidden reality of very conservative values which people actively try to conceal.  Ariel the amish hottie is married to a walking heart attack Apple executive who makes enough money to allow her to do hobbies full time & pay for a $4 million house on the peninsula, but all the women lions ever encountered were privately swinging for the same dream while simultaneously concealing it in public. 120 years ago, conservative values were all in the open.  Now the only values in the open are meant to please someone else who doesn't have those values either but aims to please, so everyone votes for a fake political position they're told to vote for by someone who doesn't exist.

5 settings must now be set to record GPS data. After discovering all those over 2 weeks, the lion kingdom could once again record workouts. The problem isn't the settings but the fact that they'll be obsolete in 3 months in Goog's mission to shuffle the deck chairs for valuation boosting. The lion kingdom hasn't had heartburn since October, despite bombings of fire wok & vitamin C. This proves it was a temporary change in water supply which coincided with the dry season. The drought continues for a 3rd year, so heartburn will be back without some water purification. Purifying the amount of water required is more expensive & space consuming than taking antacids. The pacific high is in its normal place, blocking all rain. Interesting reversal of fortune from being supported by the Obama administration to being completely shut out by the Biden administration.  Elon blames unions, but there's a modern public distaste for the fortune he made from Tesla wh

So the lion kingdom was wondering for the last year, if the government doesn't measure real inflation, is there a more basic rule which could limit its ability to print money anyway? The textbook rule was once money lost value too fast for anyone to reliably trade, the government would have to change currency.  Housing prices are rising too fast for anyone to buy a house on credit.  The credit system has completely broken down, but people are still buying houses in cash.   10 years ago, there was a theory that interest rates would limit inflation.  In reality, interest rates tracked fear of risk & stayed at 0 while prices rose 1000%. There used to be a saying that the mane problem with deflation was no-one would be willing to spend their money if their money became more valuable by being parked.  The converse of that is no-one would be willing to work if their potential earnings rapidly grew by waiting.  This is the only theory which has come true.  No-one is willing to work b

What did happen millions of years ago?  Were we really lonely monkeys evolving 1 mutation at a time or did aliens come down to give us a bump in the right direction?   According to  https://www.cabinetlenail.com/en/french-castles-chateaux-for-sale-france/&new_research=1 the gootube elite are paying 1-2 million for their starter castles.   It's a real generation gap for that to now be normal.    There's extensive paperwork, but no tax penalty for foreigners. Property tax is 1% for primary residences & 3% for 2nd homes. There is no capital gains tax on primary residences but a 2nd home has a 35% tag. After 30 years, the capital gains tax goes to 0. Home Alone put images in our heads of going to France for XMas as something everyone did when they financially arrived.  Gulker spent 1 month there every summer for his last 3 years, getting a taste of the chateau life without the manetenance. https://gulker.wordpress.com/2010/05/05/cold-and-wet/ The lion kingdom would say
Back in the 2003 time frame, when the lion kingdom was conjuring ideas to build castles with robots & discovering the mane cost was the materials rather than the labor, it was actually the best time to buy a run down french chateau.  They weren't being bought up at fever pace like now.  The lion kingdom in those days was the same age as the gootubers renovating chateaus now but much poorer. The lion kingdom is a bit perplexed by how much investment is going into European real estate.  For the last 20 years, the center of the universe has been Asia.  No-one ever took a business trip to Europe & they still don't.  Movies were & still are just set in Asia.   Everything lions buy comes from Chinese stores.  Europe still seems to be a place where business was last done 30 years ago. Maybe the buying spree is because European governments are responding to the asian migration by dumping houses on foreigners.

The Mane A lion can dream It's pretty obvious that France is getting foreigners to bankroll its historic sites the same way Italy had the $1 house sale.  The foreigners are probably able to get run down chateaus cheaply under the condition that they renovate the shacks, which can be extremely expensive.  In order to pay for it, they're all converting them into airbnbs & of course monetizing loads of videos.   US has the same kind of deal, but it's called opening the borders & the historic sites are 10,000x more expensive.
Medicare seems to be as much of a myth as the economic stimulus check & social security. Basically, anyone who really needs a government program to survive is dead already. Medicare coverage is getting shrunk & pushed back to later ages just like social security. No-one ever qualifies for the full benefit. Medicare part A covers ER visits only, but is free. Medicare part B covers doctor visits, but has a premium. Medicare part A has a $1500 deductible. Part B has premiums just like private insurance, currently $2000/year. The costs are rising 20% every year. There is no medicare for dentists. The horror stories about health insurance after retirement are all coming from married breadwinners. Health insurance is the single factor determining their retirement age. There's nothing about what single men are in for. The amount lions have paid in medicare tax has equaled private insurance. If it was blindly put into the stonk market, it would have paid for a luxuriou

New phone case Special mane request https://lefleur.fr/ https://www.instagram.com/le_fleur_honfleur/?hl=en As the lion kingdom understands it, millennials are buying up these giant country homes which were built 300 years ago during a time when everyone worked from home.  These homes were all abandoned in the 20th century as the industrial revolution moved everyone into the cities.  Now, they're slowly moving back out of the cities & the lifestyle of 300 years ago is slowly returning.   Buying & renovating abandoned chateaus is such a big deal nowadays, there's a TV show about it. https://chateaudiy.com/ They don't live in the entire house anymore.  They reserve part of it as an airbnb.  The sharing economy didn't even exist until 10 years ago.  They say they financed it, but never mention how much.  The lion kingdom presumes most houses these days are bought by selling stonk rather than borrowing money.  All new money since 2008 was created by printing it
