https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EkKprPIDxzM  A 2nd note after https://growmane.blogspot.com/2024/09/interesting-question-was-what-if.html   The more lions hear sounds like this evoking 80's nostalgia, the more they realize those warm 80's moments probably never happened but are fabrications from many times.  Dolphin delight actually came out in 2010.  It conjures a memory of a lazy overcast vacation day in winter or a lazy evening in summer.  An overcast day or purple evening which really happened in the 80's might be getting fused with a time lions chose to tune out in the recent past. The only times lions really tuned out in the 80's were when they had headaches in the evening.  It was a negative time. The memories of the real 80's have trended darker in reality.  The old man was off & on, constantly in a panic over the sky falling, never able to be the mentor that many gootubers described as essential in their careers.  It wasn't the...
An interesting question was what if colleges analyzed their hits & misses rather than their alumni GPA's & their alumni donations. There are obvious benefits to producing dignitaries, heads of state, church rulers but there aren't enough heads of state for admissions to all be based on who becomes a ruler. Lions imagine they wouldn't even show up in any analysis of alumni.  It was a very preppy college which only took the best & produced manely the very wealthy & church rulers.  They might prioritize number of kids but it takes enormous wealth to have a lot of kids. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It's been another phase of adding colormodel conversions to opengl.  Webm supports a planar YUVA, packed RGBA with unusual rowspan.  It seems to support anything, the way lions originally hacked the mpeg-2 encoder to do anything.  The odd rowspans are getting abstract...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Everybody_Wants_to_Rule_the_World    This has somehow become the signature song of the 80's.  It 1st appeared in a movie in Pirates of Silicon Valley, then it was in Ready Player One, then Retro Guy used it in his retro bedroom vijeo, then Casey Neistat used it in his Vision Pro mashup.   Lions only remember when it came out, thinking everything in Robotech was real or it could be real.  Southern Cross 1st aired during that time.  It still conjures up the gadgets in Robotech.  The difference between fiction & reality wasn't quite discovered yet, but maybe it was the way Robotech was produced in a non fictional style.

Learn about the attainable women. Another 80's star who wasn't as easy on the eyes as you remember: Elizabeth Wolfgramm. She looked tall & dominant in the shoulder pad video, which now only exists as a low res copy of a copy of a copy. She was actually 13 in that video & a lot shorter than pictured. It didn't take much to turn a 10 year old lion on. Definitely not as easy on the eyes anymore.
