After another difficult night battling Brachioradial Pruritus, managed 1 hour of sleep in which lions dreamed about just moving into a new apartment, strangely having trouble finding a shower, food & separating clean from dirty clothing.  Wondered why the lion kingdom had to check in so frequently.  Gradually realized the lion kingdom was homeless, having to scrounge for a shower, constantly having to find a place to live.  The new apartment required constantly reapplying.  Was waiting outside in a line to get in again. It made lions ponder their situation, relative to the last 20 years of rent inflation.  An apartment in silicon valley was $900 in 2005.  Today, it's $5000.   A house near the current apartment was $600k in 2005.  Today, it's $3M.  No amount of working or income can guarantee any security in fiat money.  Future lion could keep moving as rent increased.   -------------------------------------------------...

Baby it's clear outside   Introducing the negative split 1000m. Just kicking the last 100m up a notch. Been rapidly getting more intense since daily stretches of the hamstring tendons & daily knee activations. Vastly more intense than it was before the last marathon, but much less distance. Stretching the tendon just to the point of triggering it seemed to really boost the recovery.   Helas, 18.7 miles the next day ended in hamstring cramp. It responded briefly to electrolyte drink, but it took a lot of electrolyte drink to massage it all the way home.  Stretching the hamstring while standing seemed to keep it alive. It seemed to originate in the tendon. At least the lion kingdom aligned the end with the supplies, based on prior knowledge. 18 has consistently been the bingo point, no matter the pace, the nutrients, or the weather.    That yielded the final photos of the theater demolition. Noted what appeared to be the curtain in the rubble. 1 of th...

Bald eagle adventures continued with some potato quality footage from Duke Blackwood.  The Goog showed him as the Ronald Reagan library director but could find no original copy of the footage.  Strange that he would take an interest in eagle spotting.  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0WX9ayTQiUs    There were some more fragments of a longer video showing Jackie getting pinned down.  It was her time to go & be replaced by the younger bald eagles, but being in an overpopulated area full of humans changed the outcome.  Still programmed purely for life in the wild, she must have been thinking she would never fly again, settling into 1 final perch on a strange boat shaped tree.  Anemia & kidney inflammation were discovered.  The bald eagles got scared away from the nest from July 4 fireworks.   They went back by July 6. Reviewing what limited footage hasn't been blocked or gone paid, Jackie last entered the nest on July ...

Gootube dropped way off in the last 3 years.  8 bit guy, retro guy, retro recipes, LGR, either disappearing or downsizing were part of a bigger trend of the juice not being worth the squeeze.  It's almost entirely converted to AI generated junk, AI generated thumbnails, & revenue mining formulas.  -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------     Ayatollah Kamanei dropped the hammer with a new round of price increases which lions don't believe are going away, so it was time to bring back the methuselah, the $58 80ozer.  It should last until mid Oct. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------    The IMAX 70mm projectionist 6 miles down the road is a god.   Another big hit movie,  2 months after Hail Mary, but lions just don't see the magic.  What sold young lion 40 years ago on the Odyssey were the giant creatures. ...

Pondered uploading the complete, uncut run down nihilistic canyon, since they're not going to open it anymore.  It has joined the bay bridge crossing in valhalla.   It seems there was a peak in bike path engagement, 20 years ago.  It was brought on by generation X's burnout after 2001.  That generation is now gone.  The Elon era has brought in a generation of workaholics.  They're pushing for office space, factories.  All they post are photos of  factories & offices.   Of course, Tesla becoming the largest employer in the last 20 years has changed things. One does not mention closing a road to cars or building any more bike paths.  It's kind of like Detroit without any music.   --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y4cxP__LuVQ    More lost 80's.  Late 80's c...
