Pondered uploading the complete, uncut run down nihilistic canyon, since they're not going to open it anymore. It has joined the bay bridge crossing in valhalla.
It seems there was a peak in bike path engagement, 20 years ago. It was brought on by generation X's burnout after 2001. That generation is now gone. The Elon era has brought in a generation of workaholics. They're pushing for office space, factories. All they post are photos of factories & offices.
Of course, Tesla becoming the largest employer in the last 20 years has changed things. One does not mention closing a road to cars or building any more bike paths. It's kind of like Detroit without any music.

More lost 80's. Late 80's country songs for lions are the ones they heard before but never knew the name.

Another attempt at 18 miles in heat. Most of it was 87-89F, finishing in the mid 70's. Ice cream as food once again didn't end well, but the mane comes 1st. At no point did a lion get faster than 10 min.
Lions have noted most of the wealth in this valley has always been in Chevron stonk, Tesla stonk & car dependent home equity, which means one does not criticize Tesla or post pictures of a bike path without making their heads explode.
A rather inconvenient situation developed, making the return trip rather difficult.
Lions played their favorite Pink Floyd song on the way down & then found Wally playing it. Figured it was a popular song.
Then off for the 1st & last peek at some of the high school buildings being demolished. The old gym was well hidden inside the restricted area. Not many positive memories were in the remaneing buildings. The classroom buildings were still original. Geib was in the brown portable. Skip & driver's ed were in the north side of the now demolished foreign language building. Science & history were in the closest one. Cringe memories all.
The theater was definitely about to fall. Apparently a chandelier was preserved. There were no signs of scavenging. JC Penney was demolished without scavenging the A/C.
