The news covered their protests of Dubya & Trump, but a women-only college is in the limit a conservative idea which is going out of style. Rarely seen view of the top income tax rate over the last 50 years. Obviously, no-one will ever publish the tax rate over the last 100 years because then it would go back to 0. While it's going back up, no-one is going to pay it. They'll just take more compensation as stock or stop working completely. The top earners don't get paid on a payroll like the rest of us. The only ones who will pay the new tax are going to be working class in Calif*. It's long been accepted that the 80% bracket caused wealth inequality to be lower in the past, but why didn't all the after tax fortunes that were made before the 80% bracket persist after the creation of the higher tax bracket? Another theory is the crash of 1929 caused everyone to become equally poor & it just took 40 years for the power curve to redevelop on its own.
There are many copies of a very low quality copy of The Tramp. Its mane feature is Niles canyon road in 1915, when it was a dirt path & walking from Sunol to Fremont was routine. The goo tubes do nothing but make lions feel poor, now that millennials have hit middle age. This is the generation which was living in tiny apartments 10 years ago & for the 1st time, we've had a view of the massive economic rise of a generation passing from adolescence to middle age. It makes you wonder where you went wrong, but every generation is richer than the last one, so it only follows that millennials became vastly richer than generation X. The wealth gap between millennials & generation X is the 1st one that was public, while there was never any window into the wealth gap between generation X & baby boomers.
Finally finished Monster Hunter. Besides showing middle aged Milla in Xena armor, it was as preposterous as Xena without the lesbian love story & was supposed to be about a Japanese game. The 3 mane monsters were a rhino, spider, & dragon. They just fight 1 monster after another. There's nothing to it about any plot.
Finally obtained what was being marketed as the original 1982 cut of ET, after enduring the 2003 remake for 20 years. The media said the 2003 remake was bad, but only a lion can see just how bad it was. Not just the removal of the guns, but the computer modeling of the ship & the bikes was awful. The latest download still lacks some scenes. At least the Porter Ranch sunset in 1982 never gets old. Those neighborhoods were funded by aerospace jobs & the cold war. Nowadays, they're full of gootubers funded by paytreon.
If the lion kingdom had a very promising career ahead, there would be value in putting its entire net worth towards a house near the job market & planning to get much higher paying jobs in the future to pay for it. Helas, the lion kingdom's career isn't very promising so the only plan is to take the money & get out of dodge. Moving away from a job center & retiring is a scary prospect for lions. It would be a lot easier to retire near jobs & come back if necessary. There's also the prospect of watching later generations making millions every month. The lion kingdom is probably going to retire or get forced out in the next 15 years, definitely before age 70. Survived watching In a World. The premise was a female voice over actor, but the reality was a soap opera. It never even showed her making a complete voice over recording. The high point was the footage of Amazon Games. Would have grown a new mane if Lucy Lawless was cast as the producer of that show.
Koyaanisqatsi is our highest quality record of what life was like in 1980. There are many videos of the past, but few in very high quality & certainly not of the 1980 time frame. Lions distinctly remember when checkout stand conveyer belts were turntables, the cars on the road looked like that, original VW bugs abounded, & the traffic actually moved. It might be a special time period because it was the lion kingdom's 1st memories.
A common IR remote from the last 40 years, or is it? In addition to IR, it has a 2.4Ghz radio, probably for sending audio to the box. It doesn't do any speech processing in the remote. It's an awful lot of investment just for voice control. If lions were still in the set top box business, they would be developing something like this. The box is a lot worse than live TV boxes of 20 years ago. Almost nothing works & it's even slower than any other player. The picture quality is just 1080, though it theoretically can decode 4k.
