Lion ponderings

  It was more about the run than the movie. After 3 years, the lion kingdom finally watched another movie in the theater, hoping the IMAX screen would bring something to the flying scenes. It was 25 minutes of trailers, 90 minutes of Tom Cruise scowling, brooding, hitting on the bartender, & 30 minutes of action. Maybe the screen size delivered a bigger impact. Anyways, Val Kilmer really did have cancer & lost the ability to speak. World's most expensive hydrometer. A lion can read it from the desk by squinting. It was more about reusing surplus day job boards with displays. A large LED display would have been more useful & easier to build, but the hydrometer is not very useful. It's manely needed for the swamp cooler & printing TPU. It's not even recorded like the thermometer. With that, a lot of gear got moved off the bench & onto a dedicated 12V 1.5A rail after many years. There is still a need for more 12V & 5V outlets to power the swamp

Finally finished Eve of the Daleks, in which a tall, dominant, & mobile brunette hottie saves her boyfriend from the scottish aliens. H1B hottie came out as a lesbian. All that remanes is for Who Heroine to come out as a lesbian & we can finally get the lesbian kiss. The sea monster episode revived a Xena moment.  The trick with Who Heroine is she's really a man inside, so it's not the full on lesbian fantasy that Xena was.

 Finally got progressive JPEG via Video4Linux2 to work.  The only supported devices were previously a JPEG webcam format which required adding extra tables & an interlaced JPEG format used by TV capture cards 20 years ago.  Thus, it was possible to finally get live video from the DSLR. A spider got into a lion ear for the 1st time while he was sleeping.  The spider might have crawled up a cable.  It bit the outer flap of ear canal but didn't go in.  Found it crawling around the mane & tried to get it off, but it wouldn't let go.  Eventually got it off of the mane.  Dreamed about another alien invasion.  This time the aliens were causing weather changes, bringing the dead back to life, returning lost pets.  This was the typical behavior for aliens.  Rather than appearing themselves, they altered the physics around themselves. Then dreamed Russia invaded Tampon FL.  There were explosions in the distance to the west.  The underfunded Ukranian military then came down some train tracks heading east.  The explosions got closer.  The lion kingdom started running east through classrooms with a mob.   Water goes a lot farther when it's humid. There is a plan to build a hydrometer big enough for lions to read.

Sometimes, bald eagles are the lucky ones. Dreamed about the current day job getting acquired.  Instead of getting rid of the less useful employees, they got rid of everyone else except the lion kingdom.  Everyday, they expected a good show.  They were a bunch of 25 year old New Yorkers who weren't keen on any of the acquisition.  The lion kingdom expected to be let go all the time. In reality, another guy quit & went to Facebook despite living in Beaverton.  It's been a tough go retaining employees.  They have a bad habit of bad mouthing everyone who quits, but lions know better. Since the goog tube saw fit to recommend IMAX projection room videos again, let us remember a time when owning a high quality movie meant owning a 600lb roll of physical celluloid. It wasn't all glamorous wrangling of the 70mm hardware containing a dream.  The theater was usually empty.   The Calif academy of sciences during Richard Dreyfuss's time.  It was very convincingly reimagined as a concert hall in 1980.  When Richard Dreyfuss was fighting to survive as a pianist in winter of 1980, the lion kingdom was 40 miles away, learning to spell dog & cat.  The days of being out & about during dreary rainy days are long gone. The concert hall entrance was there at least from 1970-1984. Some day between 1984 & 1989, it got enclosed.  The enclosed version was the last of the old buildings. What was there before Richard Dreyfuss was an empty space from 1916-1969.  The 1916 & 2003 rebuilds were both caused by earthquakes.

  So John Fitzgerald Kennedy is only car free for 1.4 miles.  Then the next 2 miles are jammed with cars.  The narrow section which was difficult to run down still has cars while the wide section which was easy to run down doesn't have cars.  They still wiped out a lot of parking spaces.   After running all that, the mighty phone case was not in the office.  Chinatown was closed.  It was a completely unproductive trip to the city.

 Is it better for the environment to have all of us renting apartments too small to recycle anything in & without electric car chargers or to allow the collateral for the government debt, houses, to fluctuate?
