The 'tube is now paying $6000 per million views, quite an uptick from the $4000 of years ago.  Undoubtedly it's from tightening the qualifications to get monetized.  More higher paying advertisers go to fewer vijeos. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Unpopular opinion of the day: could global warming make the midwest the Calif* of the future?  Lions doubt global warming will be that extreme.  Based on the change in Calif* between today & 40 years ago, midwest winter could become more like Utah winter.  It won't be snow free but the days of double digit negative temperatures & lake effect snow drifts are probably over.  The snow will melt more quickly.  It might become an option for animals who can stand Utah in winter. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Trophy wife So basically, if a lion
The more lions thought about it, the more it made sense to finance a house instead of paying cash or paying it off as fast as possible.  The long term interest rate trend is still 0 & definitely below stonk market trends.  Debt or cash initially makes no difference in your net worth but it is a mathematical certainty that financing a house in modern interest rate trends will cost far less than paying in cash. The mane problem with buying a house is it's a sudden investment & it's just 1 thing.  The 2 commandments of investing are to dollar cost average & to diversify. What debt provides is a way to dollar cost average into the house & a way to deploy capital in more than just 1 thing.  Drain your net worth for a house & the capital is gone.  Borrow for a house & the capital can be deployed elsewhere.  Some monthly payments are going to be when you were better off buying stonks & interest rates were 0.  Some are going to be when you were better off p

It's a joke like all the trials.  They're all just putting him back on after they get the headline. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------  Surprised to find the Gold Strike did not survive the pandemic.  It was already bought out in 2015.  Rich gootubers struggle to understand the rationale for staying 30 minutes from the strip, but the price difference mattered for lions. All the cheap stuff is going away. Lions stayed there for all of their self funded trips & their 1st daytime view of the nevada desert was from 1 of the rooms. The lion kingdom went outside that morning with the 1st JVC.        The source video is all gone.  Lions didn't have a DV codec in those days, so it was captured through S video.  Camcorders were originally just used as a still camera.  ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

https://www.sfgate.com/food/article/pizza-hut-drivers-layoffs-18575596.php     Hundreds of Calif. Pizza Hut restaurants to lay off all delivery drivers     The march of progress continues as the ages old in-house delivery drivers are replaced by gig workers who aren't subject to the new minimum wage.  Most of the staff was long ago replaced by confusers.  Lions noted local fast food want ads offering $17/hour.  The state is raising that to $20.     It's unclear if the government was really the cause of the staff reductions.  Not having to worry if an animal copied your order correctly or looking like you don't know what the hell you're doing to a line of hungry animals is a big improvement.  Helas, lions grew up in that tougher world where only cash was accepted, everyone watched you ordering, & employees bare pawed the food.   ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Final xmas light photos
