Lions remember Carter
Carter became the 1st president to actually witness 100 years of the country's history. It happened at the same time Iran rejoined to the 100 year arab war, almost like Iran was celebrating its buddy's birthday. Lions only remember the media promoting him as a nice guy & none of the reality of inflation, the arab war, unemployment. Lions still remember living in the cheapest 1 story floorplan in south San Jose in 1981, hearing the kids say this tough Reagan guy was going to fix everything & pondering why no-one wanted the nice Carter guy. There was a boy, probably german & asian girl in the next 2 houses. The asian girl took to being repelled by lions. Lions once ventured in a 2 story house next door & saw the afternoon sun peering through a foggy window into the darkened stair well, with plush red carpet. The ice cream truck was a big deal every afternoon, but lions didn't have any money. Most everything was a buck. ...
