Eulogy for an amplifier

The Yamaha began life in 2001.  All 6 speakers once adorned the apartment like a kind of low cost recording studio.  It's subwoofer, Dolby pro logic & reverb effects made the dullest soundtracks sound amazing.  The high end was a bit flat, but overall, it was better than anything lions had before. All this was just $400 in those days.   The equivalent model today is $480. The confuser didn't have a way of outputting 6 channels besides a semi pro sound card with 6 RCA connectors.  Helas, it was such a hassle to configure all 6 channels to watch a movie, the lion kingdom only watched Gladiator with the 6 channels as encoded, then watched everything else with 2 channels.  Everything else relied on Dolby pro logic to convert 2 channels to 6 channels, which was impressive enough. The center speaker soon stopped working. It was down to just the manes & the subwoofer until around 2010.   Lack of space & complaining neighbors put an end to the subwoofer after that. In 201

Didn't realize the guy who played Hamilton in Hamilton was actually the show's writer. Interesting to watch video of him in 2009 talking about writing the script, without a mane. Being the writer helped him memorize his lines, but memorizing 2 hours of such complicated lyrics is really hard unless he had a teleprompter. Lions have a devil of a time memorizing 25 minutes of music, nowadays. That's why he's worth over $10 million. Before Hamilton, he had a similar life as many performers, working multiple jobs.

Another plot of indoor temperature before installing the outdoor sensor. Future projects involve cleaning up the data. The worst heat in lion history finally ended with a big overnight drop to 80F. Lions won't forget the day which spanned 89F - 104F. Data started being recorded during the night of the giant thunderstorm.
https://jamesaltucher.com/blog/nyc-is-dead-forever-heres-why/ James Altucher is a smart guy so lions took this prediction more seriously than most. Important point about current bandwidth to our homes being unimaginable 20 years ago. That alone should have made most jobs virtual, years ago. The lion kingdom can get more bandwidth in its apartment than its day job. Another point was once the taste of remote work lasted 5 months, it would become permanent. Lions still believe US will return to being a commuting economy, no matter how impractical it is. US can print whatever amount of money is required to perpetuate the most inefficient practices in the world. The return may not be the current generation of businesses but the businesses that generation Z starts in 3 years. Generation Z will start from scratch & re-evaluate what millennials left behind. Like millennials, they'll initially value lifestyle over practicality. It's human nature to just not trust employees without s
Every government humans ever created in their 6000 years of governing has run out of money & collapsed.
For the 3rd time in history, a lion took a squat dump in a bush. This time, there was no grass to wipe it with. The lion kingdom tried to remember babies do it all the time, as the diaper rash grew during the last 2 miles. The only way to clean the mess was a shower or a biden. So Pepto Bismol doesn't always work & the diet does have to be corn if lions are to run at night. Running at night is essential if lions are to attain any speed during the heat wave. Made it 5.13 miles in unexpectedly oppressive heat for 10pm before the 1st sign of a bowel movement. Called it quits rather than go all the way as a younger lion did.
There's a strange paradox with lion physiology in that more memories came from a place they lived for 4 years than a place they lived for 7 years. The reason is the development of neurons wasn't complete during the earlier time. Lions still have flashbacks of the earlier time, manely the time they took apart a watch & were fascinated by the way the LCD continued displaying the time outside its enclosure, like a beating heart outside its body. It looked utterly foreign without its plastic screen, much sharper & contrasty. Yet it would come nowhere close to a modern LCD panel. It was disappointing that the watch couldn't be fabricated by a lion from scratch. It contained mysterious undocumented parts made by many people in many countries. Lions are intrigued by retro computing because of the desire to relive the fascination of when we 1st learned about computers, not to actually go back to that time. There's no way to replay a feeling like a movie. A movie or a so

Nifty shots of the Oakland temple from the old days in 1964. It was only the 13th. The land was bought in 1943. Airlines depend on it as a navigation aid. The original 1950's meeting house is still there.
https://finance.yahoo.com/…/ex-uber-engineer-sentenced-18-2… The intriguing point for lions was that no-one ever used the trade secrets he stole for actually making anything. There are no commercially available self driving cars. No-one ever made money off a self driving car except selling a self driving car startup. The only affect he could have had on goog was lowering the valuation of a self driving car startup that goog sold off. It was a lawsuit over a fictitious corporate valuation based on a fictitious product that no-one could actually buy. There may have been some other factor like the amount of money the Goog paid him & that's an example of how paychecks are a 2 way street.

Today's verdict was all 88 keys need to be taken out & cleaned again. The lion kingdom didn't clean some sections in 2017 because they require silicone grease. The lion kingdom hit other sections with lithium grease, which held up for 4 years. Keys gradually become slower over time because of 1 sliding rubber part. If the grease gets dirty or dries out, the sliding part slows down. The easiest plan is to wait for the next key to slow down before performing the complete operation with silicone grease.
