1st night run in many years, thanks to pepto bismol. Suddenly arrived at a field without knowing where the lion kingdom was. Thought it was a forgotten field in the midddle of the housing development when in fact, it was the turnaround point. Home to the middle of nowhere on your own 4 paws.

The answer is no. Modern shavers don't wear out because the titanium gets dull. They wear out because the foil starts moving in unison with the cutter, so you have a foil shaking against your face instead of cutting anything off. The titanium actually experiences less wear as they get older. A teflon bushing is supposed to keep the foil stationary while the cutter shakes. The teflon is too soft, but is the only material which allows smooth up & down motion. Eventually, the bushing deforms, allowing the foil to follow the cutter. Old shavers had a hard mounted foil with no bushings, but it didn't comply with your face.
Then, the lion kingdom tried to ride a bike for the 1st time in 27 years. Unlike the myth of never forgetting, it did not end well. There were falls, collisions, near misses with cars. Turning was all but forgotten. Bumps were a flinging into loss of control. It was a bit strange, because riding 27 years ago was at least easier than this. Managed 18 miles, which was 14 miles longer than the longest distance in cub hood. Lions never did master it in cub hood. They never rode in the kind of urban traffic we have now, jumped curbs or shifted gears. They did turn a lot better. There was never a need to master it. If a day job required it, lions could focus a large amount of time into just mastering it, but lions have to focus every free hour on the most effective workout, which is running. Lions have never gotten into a large company which uses bikes to get around or had a food delivery job. Lesson learned, lions may now be jealous of the poor people, 5 year olds, & food deliverers
The lion kingdom was displeased that Jedi Heroine was being written out of all future Star Wars movies, but the news got worse. In the next Star Wars movie, they're going to travel back in time to kill Palpatine after Darth Vader throws him into the tunnel. By killing him off in the past, the antagonist in the Disney sequels will be eliminated so it'll be like they never happened. Jedi Heroine will proceed down a different timeline where she stays a scavenger for all her life, Han Solo survives, Luke never goes into hiding. The lion kingdom was surprised just how bad the series ended up after Disney acquired it. They're trying to reposition it as a marvel series, maybe even using the marvel characters.

Then, there was yet another attempt to run after dinner which failed. The 433Mhz radio failed 1st. This time, it was the receiver & it seemed to be a broken cable. Then, after 4 miles of walking, the lion failed. Lions continue to live under the delusion that their bowels can be controlled after dinner. Lions did it years ago, with great pain 90% of the time. Taking pepto bismol before running appeared to improve matters for a while.  Old age has made night runs a thing of the past. The lion kingdom has wrote off financial news as much as manestream news in that both have become worthless clickbait. The analysts are always a day late & telling the opposite of what's in your best interest. 20 years ago, 50% of the time what they told us to do was in our best interest. Now, 100% of the time, they're telling us to do what's in their best interest & exactly the opposite of our best interest.

Bidin his time. Ran with just the nifty 50. It was then that the lion kingdom discovered the EOS RP only goes to 1/4000. The lion kingdom's 1st digital still camera was a Sony Cybershot DVD-F717 which only went to 1/2000, 18 years ago. That gave way to the EOS 20D & EOS 5D which went to 1/8000. We've come full circle. The white goat got blown out, but it's all about the blur.

Lions sometimes wonder how much claustrophobia they would suffer in space. Lions don't have problems on airplanes, but something about the ISS is a bit more intimidating. The shuttle was a very confined space with no chance of exiting. The modern capsules are much smaller. Once docked, there is a long, narrow, dark tube leading to another confined space, no windows, & all of it is surrounded by a hard vacuum. There's absolutely no way out of this maze of confined spaces. The long tube is the most intimidating area. Lions may someday have to face the claustrophobia of space. It won't be on any current capsule, but on a much larger starship.

The answer is yes. You can whack an EF-S lens on a full frame mirrorless camera & get a wider field of view than the lens was designed for. It's vignetted of course. The trick is to not completely attach the lens, so the camera can't communicate with it. Also, don't attempt it with a mirrored camera or it'll break the mirror. There are adapters which shrink the projection of full frame lenses to a smaller sensor size. Their mane use is recording video on Canon cameras which can't use the entire sensor for 4k video. They cost as much as a new lens. The lion kingdom suspects the cost is a licensing fee Canon charges for abusing their lenses to project a vignetted image. The lion kingdom really has no use for such an adapter. It's never wanted a vignetted image. The 17mm is still somewhat wide when the sensor is cropped. The resolution is high enough to defish the lion kingdom's cheap 15mm fisheye. The automated tracker should support the 4k mode t

Finally finished Quest for Camelot, which along with Phantom Menace & Godzilla, was 1 of the terrible movies that got generation X married. It was absolutely unbearable. The lion kingdom only watched it because David Foster wrote The Prayer, which was the 1 song in that movie which was a hit. It really was a time capsule of the extremely progressive ideas of the time, with the same narratives we saw in other 90's movies like Mulan, Pitch Black, & Titanic. The end game was  an egalitarian marriage & the heroine was a lot more dominant than they are today. Times are a lot more conservative. They couldn't make a movie about a heroine saving a full grown man, today. They save kids or just themselves. They don't get married anymore. The sounds of Celine Dion, Jane Seymour, Pierce Brosnan, & Journey blared through the lion kingdom's home made stereo. Did generation X really listen to Celine Dion at their weddings?

There's a modern fascination with retro lenses much like retro microphones or LP records. The lion kingdom didn't realize how many distortions the lenses on high budget feature films from 40 years ago had until the internet pointed them out. The wide lens on The Shining had a lot of chromatic aberration & triangular bokeh. The narrower lens had round bokeh. These were Kubrik's own lenses. He used them in spite of his pursuit of perfection, probably for the same reason people use vacuum tube amplifiers. Noticed the 17mm was a lot darker than the others, at 1 point. A lens test shows there are slight differences in brightness, but they're all the same. Everything labeled as F 2.8 really is F 2.8. What's probably happening is lions see more of the room at 17mm, including a lot more shadows. Narrower lenses show just the brighter parts of the room. It's quite expensive to have a bag full of F 2.8 lenses. The average
Our predecessors the romans had no units of time more precise than hours. For thousands of years, they split the time between sunrise & sunset into 12 hours which changed duration based on the seasons. Most people had access to a sundial. The privileged had access to a water clock, immune to clouds & seasons, but still no more accurate than the nearest hour. It wasn't for another 1400 years that mechanical clocks 1st appeared, allowing time to be known down to the second. The humble unit of time that the sleep command uses & the top program updates in didn't exist until the 1400's. They could probably measure relative, short durations very accurately, but didn't have units shorter than hours or a number system to represent fractions of hours. The idea of ever needing to measure a time duration shorter than an hour must have been sorcery.

Remember feeding your mane sideshots after a long run on a hot day? Now, all we have are terrible mini hamburgers. Progress is a 2 way street.
