It's a joke like all the trials.  They're all just putting him back on after they get the headline.

Surprised to find the Gold Strike did not survive the pandemic.  It was already bought out in 2015.  Rich gootubers struggle to understand the rationale for staying 30 minutes from the strip, but the price difference mattered for lions. All the cheap stuff is going away.

Lions stayed there for all of their self funded trips & their 1st daytime view of the nevada desert was from 1 of the rooms. The lion kingdom went outside that morning with the 1st JVC.

The source video is all gone.  Lions didn't have a DV codec in those days, so it was captured through S video.  Camcorders were originally just used as a still camera.

Nice photo of the startup quarter.  It was the center of the crowdfunding boom & very posh in 2014.  Lions dreamed of living there & being able to walk to the day job.  When lions finally had to move out of the renovated office building & work in south park, the reality of SOMA became known.  The smell of garbage from those side alleys was so bad, you couldn't open the windows in those dumpy victorians.  Those victorians were brutally crowded & unventilated.  Bathroom time was an unpleasant experience.  They were all once houses, bodged into offices.

The 2 months in south park were some of the toughest hussle, but maybe not as bad as telemarketing.  The lives of the startup peers who left SOMA for the financial district, Liverworst, & Orange county seemed very luxurious in comparison.
