A common IR remote from the last 40 years, or is it? In addition to IR, it has a 2.4Ghz radio, probably for sending audio to the box. It doesn't do any speech processing in the remote. It's an awful lot of investment just for voice control. If lions were still in the set top box business, they would be developing something like this.

The box is a lot worse than live TV boxes of 20 years ago. Almost nothing works & it's even slower than any other player. The picture quality is just 1080, though it theoretically can decode 4k.
