So the Bide man printed $2 trillion & the stonk market fell over when inflation spiked & the Pow said interest rates would now have to rise some time earlier than hell freezing over.  When do economic stimulus packages cease to be stimulus packages because of the inflation they cause?

To be sure, most accounts were preprogrammed to sell off after the latest fed announcement, whatever it was.  The actual reaction will happen tomorrow & will be a big buyback on the reality that hell won't freeze over & talking heads proclaiming the inflation is a sign of growth more than inflation.

The other reality is economic stimulus packages don't have to simulate the economy or the stonk market.  Most people work for the government, have their retirements covered, & could care less about the stonk market.  If an economic stimulus package sends the stonk market to 0, it'll be considered a stimulus by the majority.

Dave Ramsey definitely flip flopped on his inflation predictions, this year. Maybe more data has turned him back to bullish on the stonk market. There's a lot in common between today & the rotten years between 1969 -1980. The stonk market was flat to negative for that time while prices roared ahead. It might be the belief that Biden is shrinking his great society reboot or that prices haven't skyrocketed to the magic 10%.

Yet another federal holiday was added to the ever growing roll of 365 federal holidays for government workers only, in the form of juneteenth.  Amerikans have high praise for calling June 19 Juneteenth.  Lions see it as evangelizing the inability to count beyond 10.  Of course, counting beyond 10 is frivolous when all your needs are covered by the gubment.

In other news, residents of Healdsburg were only allocated 75 gallons of water per person per day as the 45th consecutive year of drought dragged on.  In the happy time 30 years ago, different municipalities used to allocate 400 gallons per household.  Smaller towns have a harder time.  The Calif* population has doubled, but its water supply has shrunk under more environmental restrictions.  The doubling in population has reduced agriculture, which has gotten rid of some consumption.  There has been more piping of recycled water.  Better weather forecasting has allowed them to dump less water overboard for flood control.

Lions aren't sure how much they burn in a day.  The mane takes most of the water.  Then comes dishwashing.  Toilet flushing depends on what a lion eats.  If faced with draconian rationing, lions would consider driving in water from outside the service area, every day.  Healdsburg is small enough that residents could probably get away with driving it in from nearby.

When faced with the need to move to smaller towns in order to find a lower cost of living, there's a lot more exposure to water shortages & forest fires.  The best solution may end up being a distiller for grey water & a way to extract water from the air.
