So after listening to snob classmates bragging about their Fl*rida rental properties, snob coworkers bragging about visiting their parents in Fl*rida, the lion kingdom can be forgiven for forgetting that it's owned land in Fl*rida for 15 years.  It's been such an expensive & unproductive experience compared to the impression the snobs conveyed, it's like the envy of the classmates with the expensive houses never was.

The lion kingdom noted that most people are moving back to the cities to find jobs, rather than permanently raising prices in the middle of nowhere.  Since large corporations ended up cutting salaries for remote workers, they would rather make more & pay more in rent than make less & own a home, even if there is no point in living near an office.  The effect is middle of nowhere real estate isn't catching up to Calif*.

Despite already owning the land, the cost of building a house on it depends on how many people migrate out of the cities.  So many off gridders in Calif* are running out of water, the lion kingdom has pondered the chances of the Fl*ridian aquifer drying up.

Depletion of the FL*ridian aquifer would be an epic disaster, since it's the only supply in Fl*rida, Georgia, & Alabama.  It would be a bigger problem than the draining of the Colorado river, which has devastated the rockies.  The lion kingdom figured the Colorado river was inexhaustible, 20 years ago, but times have changed.  It wouldn't be surprising if the FL*ridian aquifer had a similar surprise.
