Getting banned from the book of face & rebuilding the empire revealed some nuggets about the internet.  Hardly any of the friends on the old account accepted new requests.  Half of them no longer allowed any friend requests & took themselves off the search feature.  It proves a theory that most of them don't keep track of who's on their list.  They change phases, have families, become wealthy, take their book accounts more seriously than they did 10 years ago.  

Most lion classmates became multi millionaires in the last 10 years.  There's a big correlation between financial success & not wanting any attention.  When they're poor college students, they want all the attention they can get.  After they become multi millionaires, they don't want to be social media stars.

So the 1st non folding table was finally installed.  It's ugly but effective.  If the lion kingdom ever was forced to commute to a startup with furniture this cheap, it would think about the choices it made 30 years ago.  

It's regrettably 4" wider than the old table, but mercifully furniture has standardized on 48" long tables.  The lion kingdom misses its years sitting right up against the wall & all the open space it freed up.  It's too smooth to stand the speakers up anymore.  It doesn't have any place to hang wires.  Speaker stands & wire hooks are the next tasks.

There was no way to retrofit the folding table.  Another idea was drilling bolts through the top, installing angle rods that way.  It couldn't be flat anymore.

There was no easy way to justify building a custom desk like the bed, 16 years ago.  It definitely wouldn't look very good, but neither did the bed.  The bed satisfied a need which had no commercial option.

A lot of inventions came from that table.

There's a lot of room in the back which the folding table didn't have.
