  Doctor Sleep was an epic fail.  The music & heartbeat sound effects were there, but everything else wasn't.  Its only redeeming factor was the middle aged hotty.   There's absolutely nothing suspenseful or scary in it, though the music desperately tries to sound scary.  It's like the music & visuals are 2 different movies.  The 1st 90 minutes are just a typical story about a guy in rehab & a murder mystery.  The last 60 minutes happen in the overlook hotel. The themes of isolation & insanity drove much of the original.  There were just 3 mane characters.  The sequel had a cast of hundreds.   There were some recreations of the original Elstree studio sets.  The original set was a full size gold room.  The new one was probably a green screen.  The recreations of the original characters were awful.   The hotel finally burns down, as written in the original book.  The lion kingdom won...

  The fall gloom

  The santa clause rally begins. The lion kingdom expects a santa clause rally because stonks have lagged far behind money printing. The money supply doubled since stonks were 30,000 & stonks always track the money supply in the long term. For 8000 years, the output of the bottom 99% has all been spent on feeding the top 1%, hence all the money ends up in the brokerage accounts of the top 1%.  

  Had the dream about living in a theater for the 2nd time. There was a bunch of college students living in a ransacked theater. Movies played all day & night. The 1st dream had a large seashell theater. It was part of a larger building & the lion kingdom had an adventure in the halls behind the stage. The 2nd dream featured the lion kingdom having a hard time sleeping. These dreams seem to be based on the lion kingdom's 1st college year, when classes were in giant theaters. When classes were long & back to back, students really did live in those theaters for 3 hours at a time. The original ransacked theater still exists 30 years later, but the neighborhood has been redeveloped. The seashell theater still exists. The classmates from those dumpy theaters went on to much more lucrative careers than lions.   The ghost of banjo heroine There is a less sketchy route up, but still including some areas of sketch.  It's surprising how close the hood is to the lesser hood, in terms of running distance.  By car & walking, they're farther apart. The lion kingdom found it an action packed relief after a string of duds. Interestingly, the apartment interiors were shot in France. The exteriors were shot in NY. It makes 3 Jean Reno movies lions have seen, along with the Big Blue, & Ronin. The lion kingdom wondered what the point of princess Amidala was, since she didn't do anything but get Leon killed. She was totally incompetent. In 1 sense, she also got the bad guy killed, but if she never showed up or was just a mane hair smarter, they all would have gone their merry ways.
