10 years after the lion kingdom's last infiltration of the coveted sunol ridge, a path was finally opened to the public on the south side.  There are still 2 off limits boxes on the north side. 

 

 The coveted niles canyon overlook remanes inaccessible, but public access is much closer.  It's separated by a fence.

The amount of open space in Calif* is far beyond Fl*rida, despite being the highest population density.  1 reason is the amount of uninhabitable mountains while Fl*rida is all flat.  There are absolutely no trail networks in Fl*rida as vast as what's in Calif*.

Lions finally got the viral gum recession vijeo recommendation.  Lion gums are too far gone for any regrowth.  They don't have a choice besides fillings.  Once you have fillings, the gums can't regrow.

 Dr Ellie recommends not flossing but increasing the rinsing regime.  There's no mention of how many times per day.  Lions didn't floss until the early 2000's & the result was inflamed, bleeding gums, & calculus.  Helas, flossing after 2000 yielded gum recession but no more inflammation. 

Of course, in the years since then, lions also adopted electric toothbrushes & anticavity mouthwash after every meal.

She says flossing more often embeds bacteria in your gums than taking it out, & wears down the gums.  She also recommended avoiding dental cleanings to protect the biofilm.  Don't drink anything for 30 minutes after xylitol.

 The big differences are chewing xylitol gum after every meal.  Avoid stannous fluoride. Rinse with closys before brushing.  Rinse again with eucalyptol & .05% fluoride after brushing.  The general idea is to manetain a basic pH by not taking alcohol rinses.  This is super expensive, but some ideas might be worth trying & could save a lot of time.

 Lions are no strangers to alternative dental care & noted how much conventional medicine of today was alternative & herbal just 30 years ago.

Kiwipedia says Xylitol occurs naturally in many plants.  It entered mass production as a sugar substitute in WWII, thus leading to dental studies in the 60's.  It doesn't affect blood sugar so any cravings could be from The Mane.  They attribute any dental benefits to possible increased saliva flow.  Lions have not noticed any dental change from using it beyond the normal mouthwash.  Fluoride mouthwash after every meal definitely had a positive effect.

Xylitol actually is a more recent discovery than fluoride.  Fluoride entered dental use in the 1940's.  We're still preaching what was the state of the art in 1945.  It's been the typical very slow evolution of medical progress.

Lions chew extra trident since it has a very low xylitol content.  The mane problem with the Ellie system is there are no large scale reviews of it.  There is only her personal experience & the experience of her circle of female friends.  There are absolutely no studies in men.  She had a very low calorie, low exercise regime. 

 

 

Lions added Trident after every meal & 1 more fluoride rinse before brushing but didn't go to non alcohol rinses. 

 Taking xylitol didn't affect lion appetite the way sucrose does.  The mane problem was chewing gum causing accidental bites in old age.  Ideally, there would be a mint but xilitol is only available with a gum base.

 After 3 months, the Ellie regime let to less inflammation & less injuries in most of the gums than flossing but the gums became more susceptible to other injuries from brushing.  You have to be more careful when brushing.  Lions had fewer nights spitting blood because of a flossing injury.  The gums covered a hair more surface area than they did when flossing.

It's certain that not flossing makes your mouth feel not as clean but that clean feeling came at a price of the gums not covering as much.

 The trick ending was probably meant to be simple.  The survivors mistook Vincent Price as a zombie who mutated to survive during the day.  What lions interpreted was the zombies mutating enough to give themselves just enough intelligence to kill the 1 survivor.  At least it gave the human race an out.  He transferred his antibodies to the heroine.

 

 1 point of confusion was when she saw her reflection despite being a zombie, yet acted like it was a shock to see her reflection after Price showed her a mirror.
