No doubt about a taper to quantitative tightening now.  It's closing in on 7.5 tril.  Any dip is going to be a buying opportunity.  What lions bought in 2023 is way up.  What lions had before 2022 has gone nowhere.

The lion kingdom's HSA made back everything it lost on fees after 2010.  Lions originally planned to burn it all on over the counter supplies before the amerikan people banned that.  Then came years of pondering burning it on dentists, contact lenses, LASIK.  In the end, decided not to spend it on anything since it's tax sheltered.

The smarter move was to spend after tax money on what the HSA is intended for & use the HSA for tax sheltered growth.  Nothing saved in a taxable account by burning the HSA on healthcare would have grown as fast as the money in the HSA.  It's another example of the system having the opposite effect of what was intended & sometimes doing nothing being better than acting.

Apparently, http://marc.merlins.org/perso/blog/ uses cookies so it never updates unless it gets a unique URL.  Then came another reminder of what could have been if lions made all the right moves.  Very glamorous to spend your life traveling, but lions aren't happy when they're not making things.  It's already known from sabbatical that lions would be busier when not working, chasing problems.

What's unusual about Merlin is he's not just richer than god but has more time than god to enjoy it.

The tube recommended electric unicycle vijeos during 1 of its rare  moments of recommending unknown channels.  It might have matched the leash camera composition with the composition of the EUC vijeos.

The 1st time lions saw one in real life was the 2nd St commute.  The guy promptly fell into a bunch of tables & chairs.  That defined what an EUC was for lions.  Short rides & constant falling down.  Then they started appearing on the bike path going real fast.    Those guys weren't falling down.

This guy is one of the crazy ones.  They're all men under 30.  So far, there are no stories of deaths.  Riding them requires being an athlete but it's not much of a workout.

The top end EUCs are over $4000.  The segway was $3000, had 2 wheels, & was lambasted for being too expensive.  There's been quite a change in mentality.

The current EUC design was invented by the same guy who invented 2 wheeled hoverboards.  https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shane_Chen  It was the culmination of many years of many animals adding features to improve stability.

The latest evolutions are suspensions, seats, braking handles.  Everything that can be done to make them easier to ride is being done.  If there was a way for them to require no skill, it would be done.  It's not a manufactured sport.

The claimed ranges are 100 miles on the high end & 13 miles on the low end.  They weigh up to 100 lbs.  The best way to learn how to ride is to just stand on them at a standing desk, getting used to how they feel.  They also recommend attaching a strap.  There's a well defined process of learning.

It's kind of amazing to see stabilized video of guys zipping around real fast on them without falling down, like Casey Neistat's boosted board videos.  Lions would not be happy standing on them all day, fully suited up, with no physical exertion.  They're not portable when they're not moving.  You can't eat while moving.

Lions gathered really proficient riders like chooch tech have to live on their bikes, otherwise the skills go away.

The weekend rain ended the week at 30 miles.  Not as low as the lowest.  Experience with the leash camera is going to be very low because of the weather.
