Ankle update

Still bouncing up without the pacing system, despite the ankle.  Pacing is required to avoid injury.

The only reason the King's Daughter is on the hard drive is the footage of Versailles.  Besides being a mane intensive movie, lions noted the modern LED lighting.  There was no replacing all those LEDs with period candles, but it wasn't very obvious unless scanned frame by frame.

This watery location actually was not a lake but small streams around the temple of love, facing south during the golden hour.

The heroine married the pirate captain in real life, a year after making the movie.  She was his #2.  Lions could imagine what a joyous marriage it was for her at age 23.  They split up after she made 2 more of his kids.  Polyamory at its best.

Viewers pay a heavy price for those visuals, in the form of a zillion corny subplots.  Instead of making up corny subplots to justify showing off Versailles, they could have made a day in the life of the sun king.

At least the heroine was easy on the eyes.  It was shot in 2014 when she was 22.  She had a Resident Evil part, 8 years later.  Must have been weird to have both movies released in 2022 with her aging 8 years between them.

Pierce Brosnan & William Hurt

Her makeup was on & off between takes.

Before & after 8 years of marriage.

The 2021 episode brings lions up to all 7 live action movies.  They'll never be watched again except maybe as ambient noise.
