What if an artificial superintelligence rigged the primary elections, causing the only human candidates to be the most incompetent dimented possible, so we would have no choice but to vote for it?

It couldn't have already happened.  The artificial superintelligence couldn't be the current aggregation of all human knowledge and it can't be causing the primary elections to yield only bottom denominators.  



Given the internet's 10 second attention span, would expect Bide to get elected like nothing ever happened.

With many consecutive days over 100 & limited nighttime cooling, the apartment will be above 100 for most of those days.  The night temperature will bottom out at 85.

The new strategy is to keep the standing desks as high as possible to keep the thermal mass above the lions.  Freeze an ice block at night & hold it during peak heating.  The bathroom is the real challenge.  That might be a good case for a neck pillow ice pack but stuff can't go from the bathroom to the freezer.

Contrary to the fallacy of leaving the fridge open to cool the apartment, there might be a rationale in freezing ice to cool the lion.  That would be transferring heat from the lion to the room.

The apartment manages a 10 deg difference during heating & 20 deg difference during cooling.  There is no forced air during heating & forced air during cooling.  Lions have pondered why this is, other than the rate of change being different.

The fan situation is a lot better than the heat storms of 2020.  Move the fan close, blow at the chest, spray water & it cools quite briefly but effectively.  The swamp cooler evolved from an idea of a pump fed sprayer.  Since the nano misters never had the flow rate of a sprayer, that idea should be revisited.  There aren't many cheap pumps with the flow rate of a sprayer.  There are electric water guns.

 What lions think is happening is index funds are earning interest on large treasury positions.  They're putting the interest into stonks to manetain a constant allocation.  It's not millennials pouring money in the stonk market expecting lower interest rates.  Anyways, the next idea was revising the GUI to get rid of the drop shadows, decorations.  The modern trend is flat colors, but the trends have to change every 6 months for these corporations to stay in business. 1 idea that looked good was an apply button in the file dialog which would allow loading files from a bunch of directories or picking 1 file at a time without closing the window.  The trick is most files require building an index.  The file dialog would have to be frozen during the load process or it would have to be locked out of loading again.  It would be a functional but unpleasant experience. The biggest win right now would be repositioning the plugins to the top when there isn't an asset.
