The lion kingdom began rewatching its DVD resolution copy of the skeleton key. In the minds of IMDB, it went down as a flop. There are only a few blurry screenshots of a somewhat HD copy on the IMDB. It wasn't very visual.
Kate Hudson looked a lot chunkier 15 years ago than now. Times have changed. Lions kind of liked the heroine, but the bad ending ruined it.
Rewatching it while knowing the ending makes for quite a depressing story. If things were just slightly written differently, it could have had a happy ending. There could have been a sequel allowing her to escape. A movie incriminating black servants couldn't be made today, so that would have killed any sequel.
There are some plausible elements to it, in an old man being intentionally disabled for an inheritance. As young lion watched it, he realized the hag was imprisoning the old man for his money long before the heroine did, but didn't realize the soul possession aspect.
Lions are probably going to go out by having a stroke & then wasting away alone.
There might be more of a story in how the house survived in the middle of a swamp with the amount of flooding. The real house was well above water.

The old lion is probably going to die in the next 5 years. Longevity reduction is 15 years for epilepsy. Grandma got to her mid 90's without it. He'll probably die in his sleep from a seizure that stops his breathing.
Lions have a non zero chance of developing epilepsy after age 65. It would be a difficult situation, having never become high enough in status to have a partner.
Pretty damning that financial advisors wait until age 60 to retire & even then, he creates daily clickbait videos for supplemental income. If a financial advisor couldn't retire early, the rest of us probably can't afford it. It should be noted he has a wife & family to feed.
Lions have based their expected retirement date on their last high school reunion in 2033. It could be sooner if the job market falls over. There's no plan for it to be later. That would take a seriously over heated job market.

So basically, gootube inserts an ad after every 3 shorts if you're just scrolling through the shorts recommendations. That's how they monetize shorts without commercials. A lot of users must scroll through shorts recommendations.
