Mr. Carlson's art deco frequency sweep analyzer. Whoever built it had as much love of art decco elements as Rigol has of pink rubber. That really was the pink rubber of its time. Could imagine turning it on releasing some ghost of the 3rd reich which proceeded to possess the operator or such an enclosure housing a movie projector showing Metropolis. Who knows if Steve Jobless was still alive, if phones would have come full circle, aspiring to be rocketeers.

A 17 miler marked the longest since May.  It's going to be a long recovery but as  long as the recovery is followed, it doesn't regress or improve.  The lion kingdom can't wear padded shoes anymore.  It's only bearable in the sandals.  
 
Sadly, the gopro timewarp feature isn't capturing a fixed interval reliably.  It did in the last palo alto video, but that wasn't using a metronome.  It also did in the last bay bridge run.  That showed some inconsistency.  Might be worth another bay bridge run to test radio reliability.

 What lions think is happening is index funds are earning interest on large treasury positions.  They're putting the interest into stonks to manetain a constant allocation.  It's not millennials pouring money in the stonk market expecting lower interest rates. High interest rates are pushing up stonks like the 90's.  Millennials are taking money out of the stonk market to buy houses & pay their mortgages.  Important reminder that lions would only barely get by & be fairly unhappy if they retired now, drained their savings to buy a house, & couldn't afford a lot of things they hoped to have.  Lions don't expect to have the coordination required to play it, when the time comes.  Maybe they could just play chords.  Would definitely have to learn how to tune it & regulate it.  Don't kid yourself.  US is a 1 party system.  Unless something is drastically wrong with the 1 campaign, they always vote democrat.  Even as bad as H-Rod was, they still voted for her. Ordering renters to provide $25,000 subsidies to new home owners is basically ordering them to pay what was an entire down payment 20 years ago.  Surely if they could afford these entitlements for home owers, they would have bought houses themselves.  They formerly required the high school dropouts to pay $50,000 in student loan forgiveness to Harvard graduates. Calif* requires renters to provide a $150,000 subsidy to new home owners or about the total cost of a house 20 years ago.    Amerikans just want the Calif* way of life for all.  If you don't like how wealth is redistributed from poor to rich in Calif*, you're not going to like the rest of US. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Reviewing past stonk po

 Anyways, the next idea was revising the GUI to get rid of the drop shadows, decorations.  The modern trend is flat colors, but the trends have to change every 6 months for these corporations to stay in business. 1 idea that looked good was an apply button in the file dialog which would allow loading files from a bunch of directories or picking 1 file at a time without closing the window.  The trick is most files require building an index.  The file dialog would have to be frozen during the load process or it would have to be locked out of loading again.  It would be a functional but unpleasant experience. The biggest win right now would be repositioning the plugins to the top when there isn't an asset.
