The last PETG prints, possibly of all time. It was a pain to store, a pain to print. Lions see no need for it, since HT PLA handles higher temperatures, works with CA glue, is stronger than PETG. PETG's only redeeming factor might be its longevity. That leaves 1kg of leftover PETG. It's very likely coming to FL after retirement.

Dreamed about pivoting to trying to get a job at SpaceX again.  There was some desire for glory which overrode the prospects of burnout & a grueling commute.  It was unlikely to happen, no matter how hard lions tried.  Was in some office complex in Starbase.  It had an open space in the middle, surrounded by a line of PC's along each wall. It was all very vintage looking but the reality of mandated office work.  Mandated office work is a return to the same facilities we had before 2019.  Nothing is being remodeled, upgraded, or modernized.

Another horrible walnut crusher.  5h10m moving time to complete the marathon.  5h46m to complete the full 28 miles.  That was even with a food break.  High temperature was 81F, the hottest so far.  Stayed at 9min/mile.

Got temperature warnings at mile 20 & went to walk/running.  Was trying to simulate higher efforts in later miles by keeping the speed up.  Cramping began at mile 23.  Been overloading on water for the last 2 walnut crushers.  It got 3 18oz electrolyte mixes on the way out & 2 28oz gatorades on the way back, but it couldn't absorb the water fast enough.  It became bloated after mile 18.  Absorption speed is the problem.

The return climb has been problematic.

The previous peak temperature was 77F on April 6.  https://growmane.blogspot.com/2025/04/worst-28-mile-effort-of-all-of-them.html

That had longer moving times but no food break.

In the interest of saving time, began pondering doing this on friday nights when temperatures would max out at 60.  Improving heat resistance has been an impossible goal.  The lake is packed, so there aren't any empty tables.
