"The Labor Department has exhausted its options for continuing to pay an extra $300 a week in federal unemployment benefits to jobless people in the 22 GOP-led states that are ending them early, an administration official told CNN Thursday."

Not much unity in what the media has touted as the unifying administration to end all divisiveness.  Even before the 5 remaneing R states rejected their unemployment checks, they were all voting down the party line, the same as under evil divisive presidents.

What the lion kingdom wonders is what happens to all the money when a state refuses to give it away?  Does it not get printed in the 1st place?  Does it just go into their government pension funds?  Did the R states still take the trillions that were intended for their pension funds?

Typical for indy movies, Gretel & Hansel has a lot of wide angle lenses, 4:3 aspect ratio, & goofy colors, but it's the most visually entertaining in a really boring lot.  Not much happens, but the witch is a hottie in her younger form.  As usual, generation X is now the evil witches while generation Z is the good kids.  4k is a lot more valuable on a 4k monitor, but only for a movie with lots of static shots.

It made lions think about poverty.  Lions have never experienced real hunger as depicted or witnessed it even in the homeless population, but it was common 800 years ago.  In recent history, it's manely emerged in pockets due to failed economic systems, governments which don't have any emergency fund in times of drought, governments which centrally divert resources away from farming.  Americans are in love with marxism, but 1 of the largest famines in recent history the Mae famine was caused by a failed communist system.

The dominant system in Gretel & Hansel's time would have been feudalism.  It obviously wasn't very good at feeding everyone.  They also had much more limited farming knowledge than we have now, but never underestimate the ability of a government to destroy any bounty.

Amerikans have widely varying opinions on what communism really is.  Some see it as no-one making any income at all & basic needs coming from some unseen source.  Some see it as the top giving all its income to the bottom & working for free.  Some see it as the bottom giving all its income to the top & working for free.  Some see it as the middle giving all their income to the bottom & the top.  They universally agree capitalism is the worst system ever invented & they all would take even feudalism over it.

1 problem is Amerikans don't really know what a basic need is.  They seem to think marxism provides a $2,000 universal basic income check every month, a car, a house, but without any inequality.  Actually, in the marxist systems so far there were no cars, no houses, the universal basic income was more like $2 per day.  As for government subsidized houses, they didn't even have their own rooms.  They shared their bedrooms with other families.  That's what a basic need was.

The 5 stages of a cryptocurrency newbie:

Bitcoin is going to become the universal currency of Earth!

Who cares what it is.  Get in & win big.

The price is falling.  Sell it & say you're demonstrating a feature!

Buy altcoins instead of bitcoin.  Another universal currency will be the next universal currency!

If everyone creates their own universal currency, what's the value in any of them?
