Since the lion kingdom became fully vaccinated without ever contracting the corona & wearing masks proved good enough for the entire rest of the time, the idea that the government once required all businesses to close seems absurd.  Maybe closing everyone down did account for lions never getting it or maybe it didn't.

Having failed to find another lost song from 1988, the lion kingdom believes it has ideas for at least 2 truly unique songs.  The memory of these songs may be transformations of more popular songs which are still played all the time.

Meanwhile, Lang Lang plays in the palace of versailles.

It was an excerpt of a full recital he gave in 2015, but only released in bits in 1920x1080.  It was originally recorded in 4k.

It's such an amazing room, Beauty & the beast was based on it.  It may have been built out of the audacity of evil maniacal kings, but it will always remind lions of the beast castle.  The lion kingdom would be happy just to have that room & skip the rest of the palace.

Anyways, the hall of mirrors is 34.4ft wide x 240ft long x 40.4ft tall.  The lion kingdom could approximate it with a 24ft x 56ft barn.  By constraining it to multiples of 8ft post spacing & shrinking the bedroom, the square footage of the living space could be 1728 at a more reasonable cost.  Prices have been assumed to be $100/sq ft.

The 576 sq ft garage is being left out of the mane cost.  There are cheaper sheds to use as a garage, but they still require a foundation & doors.  Lions have left out windows from the garage since they normally don't have any.

The covered porches were left out, since the real hall of mirrors is on a 2nd floor.  Instead, there are end overhangs creating the illusion of more length for less money.  The long narrow design is more practical for storing stuff next to the walls.

The real hall of mirrors has a room on each end of the hall.  The lion barn would only have a bedroom on 1 end.

The bedroom section would contain the bathroom.  The laundry, hot water, HVAC, electronicals would have to go in the mane room.

Interestingly, the real palace of Versailles of the early 1700's smelled like a BART station.  It had no running water outside the king's quarters, so bathing was rare.  It had few bathrooms.  People relieved themselves under stairways & in portapotties.  They dumped human waste out the windows.

Anyways, there's a fascinating painting of a masked ball in 1745, during the hall of mirror's heyday.  It must have either smelled really bad in there or had overwhelming perfume to try to mask it.  Imagine having an actual sound recording of that night.  Other than the smell, the glistening shining light from all those candles must have been a cozy sight against the night in greater Versailles.

The hall of mirrors was built from 1678-1684.  The masked ball happened after all the silver in the room was melted down to fund a war in 1689.  The party all came to an end in 1789 with the french revolution.
