Feels like the lion kingdom is forever repeating its years there in some parallel universe, but the music is in a minor key. There's no way now to experience a full 24 hours there, like it was.

The old man originally intended to buy the 1 story 3 houses closer to the mane road, but changed his mind. It makes sense that his final choice was 3 houses farther down the road because the houses closer to the mane road would have already been sold by the time he changed his mind. The 2 story was the last house in the phase. It remaned next to an empty field for at least a year.

The change in architecture from the 2 different phases is visible. Lions run in much older neighborhoods nowadays, yet the architecture of that 1981 neighborhood is uniquely haunting.
Early 80's houses were architecture gone wrong, with odd triangular windows, odd diamond windows in odd places.

The idea with tract housing is to make it as mass producible yet functional as possible. They had ways of getting some semblance of a custom look in mass housing construction without paying for it.

Nowadays, the value in a house would be electronicals, home automation, car charging, solar power.
