Finally caught up with generation X & finished IJATKOTCS.  The only redeeming scene was the flying saucer spinning up & taking off.  The mane focus of the movie was a 20 minute chase scene which went absolutely nowhere.  There's a lot of fascination with the Mayans & Egyptians contacting aliens.  The reality is those civilizations were the 1st to harness slavery on a massive scale.  They rapidly had more productivity than they knew what to do with.

It was a slavery adolescence the same way modern civilizations had a technological adolescence.  Maybe future generations will excavate our silicon temples & ponder how we harnessed such productivity without aliens.

The lion kingdom was reminded that the dominant generation in 2008 was the baby boomers, most of the workforce was over 40, & marriage was still the endgame.  It was made for a very different audience than now.

There was the memorable art decco interior of the Jones mansion.  The fireplace was the TV of the 1930's.

The old building was  Saybrook College in Connecticut.  The lion kingdom imagines Indiana Jones was based on a real professor teaching at Yale between adventures.

Another old building was really University of the Pacific in Stockton.

The Jones mansion enjoyed evolution since it appeared in episode 3, but still no garage.

1912

1938

1957

To enjoy a progression in house size like that, the lion kingdom would have had to preserve its cash in a house, 20 years ago.

Being directed by Steven Spielberger, it was not his best work.  The next logical step in the franchise would be Indiana Jones in space, but it's not to be.

Muffin pizza recipe:

Approximately 1 cup each of grated Jack cheese and Cheddar Cheese
                    4 eggs
10 slices Jalapeno peppers(from a jar) chopped. You may use more for spicier muffins.
                     4 chopped green onions
                      1.5 teaspoon Lemon Pepper
                      3 Tablespoon Mayonnaise

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees
2. Split muffins in half (I used a package of sourdough muffins)
     Place on a baking sheet.
3. Mix together all ingredients and spread on each English muffin.

Place pan in oven and bake 8-10 minutes
