Worst spider bite ever experienced by a lion.  It makes it very painful to sit down.  It is believed to be aggravated by its position, but is a standard wolf spider bite that lions get hundreds of every year.  Spiders have come in waves of several in 1 week followed by several weeks of no spiders.

The pianist was a hard movie to watch, over 3 days.  The lion kingdom isn't sure if it's more or less depressing than Schindler's List.  Many scenes in the movie were staged exactly like photos in kiwipedia.  WWII movies are generally easy to make, since there's an abundance of real, dire material. The period from 1990-2010 saw a shift from the rhetorical speeches of John Wayne, George C Scott, Charlton Heston to intimate views of desperate suffering & hunger.  Lions aren't sure whether movies lightened back up for millennials or if they stopped being made to keep millennials happy.    Amusing that Grok applied an IPv6 style pseudo header to the computation of an IPv4 ping packet, even though IPv4 doesn't use the pseudo header.       Another Grok error was in a basic TCP demonstrator.  To avoid a TIMED_WAIT on the server blocking the port, you have to exit the server without closing the socket.   These errors take a lot more time to track down than doing it the old way.  It might be fixed in paid versions of Grok. Its theatric run over in 1 month, Project Hail Mary arrived on the hard drive in short order.   After running the Michael Jackson movie for just a week, the IMAX theater now seems to be derelict.  They could be reserving it for private screenings or it could be too expensive to operate. It's a growing number of movies which won't be available in blu ray.  Lions continued to be perplexed by the inferior quality of webrips.      Skimming through it, the resemblance to 80's depictions of the future was striking.         It was a time when the future was painted white & noodled.  Sometimes you have to go back to go forward.   Moving on, they made every effort to pack as much of the book in a 2:30 screening time as possible.  The shots are all very quick.  It was like watching normal movies at 2x.  The book being intended from the start to be a movie definitely helped.   Computer animated exterior s...
