Dreamed about getting chased by outlaws into Martin Sheen's mansion.  Bought a gun while being chased through a mall, which isn't possible in Calif*.  Shot some of them.  Then they gassed the entire valley.

Finished Goin' South, which ends with a few more under exposed facial expressions & out of focus shots of Durango Mexico.

There's a cautionary tale about what happens to people in the middle of nowhere who have a lot of money.  Outlaws tend to show up.

At least 1 of the outlaws is a hottie.  Veronica Cartwright was 29 in the movie so no, lions are no longer attracted to anyone their own age.

There's sort of a reprive of Jack's role in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest where he casually escapes a prison.  In this case, he casually escapes a collapsed mine.  The gold mine conveniently collapses right after they collect enough gold to retire.

It seemed obvious that they should have repaired the mine & continued collecting gold, but some kind of love triangle was worked in, whereby the heroine had justification to take the gold & run away.  There was also an implication that the outlaws would eventually take all the gold, but lions never heard of gold miners getting ransacked by outlaws during the gold rush.  There was 1 story of Joel Harlan not marking his gold mine & losing it over a legal process.

The outlaws end up conveniently ambushing the deputy in time for Jack to get away & live happily ever after in Mexico.

A small number of long 7 minute paced intervals seems to yield better results than a small number of shorter 6 minute paced intervals.

The greatest show on Earth.

It's the 2nd time lions have been fed headlines about population decline & a labor shortage.  The last time was in 1999.  Then there were too many people in 2002 & 2009.  The lion kingdom isn't buying it this time either.  There's too much money for sure, but not too few people.  If we ever get to a point where less stuff is being produced because there aren't enough people, then there aren't enough people.  If less stuff is being produced because no-one wants to lend money & no-one wants to make 1/50 the price of a house, there's too much money.

Seems to be open from 12-4 now.

The lion kingdom's 27 year old can opener is in a sorry state, but it's so extremely rare to need it anymore, there's never been an incentive to replace it.  Seem to recall it being $20 in the money of the time because can openers with big handles were luxurious in those days.  Seem to recall it only working briefly, then barely gripping the can for most of the last 27 years.  Most cans now have pull tabs.  The last one requiring a can opener might have been chicken or tomato sauce & it might have been over a year ago.

Canned chicken is definitely 1 food which formerly required a can opener but has since completely switched to pull tabs.  The lion kingdom tried Hunt's tomato sauce & what was routine 27 years ago tasted horribly bland compared to what's normal now.  All modern tomato sauces come in glass vacuum jars.
