The last stand of Harlan house.  In the last year, the windows all got smashed.  It's considered unsalvageable, so the highrise intended to replace it is now assumed to have a replica.  There are some renditions of the high rise.

There are some photos of its lush days.

There are a lot more aerial photos than what the goog has, with an annoying red box which doesn't even line up with anything.  The house was originally an L & it's believed the west section of the L was the original house on Alcosta.  It was once the only game in town.

The more salient photo shows when the housing development & the freeway were laid down.  There was no geographic reason for curving all the streets.  It could have been a grid.  It's a mystery to lions how architects dream up random street paths instead of grids & why they don't use grids.

As with any redevelopment plan, there's now a lot of opposition manely for the purpose of opposing.  It's obvious that Joel Harlan was cursed from the beginning.  The house was never going to survive.  The lion kingdom's only wish is for the highrise to have a public bathroom.  Based on the new gate, that's not going to happen.

For today's speed work, the truck was set 1 tick higher than intended & the lion blew up during repeat #3.  The blowup was more a vomit crisis than a fatigue issue.  Noted when pulling back the speed, it needed 1 more tick than expected.  Having said that, 6:30/mile was the lion kingdom's standard speed for 800 meters, 5 years ago.  The only difference was the truck of the time being slower.  The mane culprit is believed to be reduced mileage & higher speeds during the slow runs.
