The lion kingdom got 2012 recommendations after searching for AN-224 videos, as most of the world did.  It's visually a cut above Sharknado, but equally pointless.  Since the mortal heroine movies of generation X went away & the gootubes became a wasteland of rich millennials showing off their $5 million LCD fireplaces, lions have come to depend on trashy apocalypse movies.  












Entertaining enough to finish in 1 sitting & not as unbearable as other movies which got 5.8 on IMDB.


Not spaceships, but large boats manage to save some of the population so they can start over in Africa, which miraculously or politically correctly escapes destruction.  Apparently, the atmosphere was unbreathable, so no-one in Africa would have survived.  The ending was sort of an about face from a total destruction to a reorganization of the planet.  We're led to believe the arcs are spaceships right until the last 40 minutes when they're revealed to have anchors.






The lion kingdom has concluded the leading way to boost morale in a startup is to declare whatever you're doing to be the industry standard.  In home entertainment, they especially campaigned hard to call their own goofy protocols a standard.  20 years later, lions can conclude the only thing close to a standard was the gootubes, but every streaming service has its own protocol.  PC interconnects featured another load of goofy protocols which might have converged on USB, but in your little startup, the standard might have been firewire.

The lion kingdom is a believer that Tech Lead owes $5000/month in child support & he really has over $600,000 in annual income from running online businesses.  What lions think is happening is index funds are earning interest on large treasury positions.  They're putting the interest into stonks to manetain a constant allocation.  It's not millennials pouring money in the stonk market expecting lower interest rates. High interest rates are pushing up stonks like the 90's.  Millennials are taking money out of the stonk market to buy houses & pay their mortgages.  Important reminder that lions would only barely get by & be fairly unhappy if they retired now, drained their savings to buy a house, & couldn't afford a lot of things they hoped to have.  Lions don't expect to have the coordination required to play it, when the time comes.  Maybe they could just play chords.  Would definitely have to learn how to tune it & regulate it.  Don't kid yourself.  US is a 1 party system.  Unless something is drastically wrong with the 1 campaign, they always vote democrat.  Even as bad as H-Rod was, they still voted for her. Ordering renters to provide $25,000 subsidies to new home owners is basically ordering them to pay what was an entire down payment 20 years ago.  Surely if they could afford these entitlements for home owers, they would have bought houses themselves.  They formerly required the high school dropouts to pay $50,000 in student loan forgiveness to Harvard graduates.  Anyways, the next idea was revising the GUI to get rid of the drop shadows, decorations.  The modern trend is flat colors, but the trends have to change every 6 months for these corporations to stay in business. 1 idea that looked good was an apply button in the file dialog which would allow loading files from a bunch of directories or picking 1 file at a time without closing the window.  The trick is most files require building an index.  The file dialog would have to be frozen during the load process or it would have to be locked out of loading again.  It would be a functional but unpleasant experience. The biggest win right now would be repositioning the plugins to the top when there isn't an asset.
