
Desk 4 was intended as a piano stand. After much debate on how to adapt it to the keyboard springs, it was decided to keep desk intact & create adapter plates. The only structurally sound way to mount adapter plates was on the inside. Then a scrap piece of wood would mount the confusers. This area would be vastly more efficient with a single x86 confuser. Those single board confusers are as expensive as a commodore 64 was in 1984, $200. It's still a lot of money. The cables aren't long enough for it to extend to full height. While it extends from a standing to a sitting position, there's not enough room for an animal's legs under it. The structure between the motors would have to be taken out or the keyboard would have to move to the front holes, in which case there wouldn't be enough room for an animal to sit in front of it.
