The lion kingdom began the long process of selling off most of its taxable positions to collect capital losses.  This should be enough to offset all of the capital gains tax, in the long term.  By now, the lion kingdom hasn't made any money since 2020 & quantitative easing has proven itself a failure.

Of course, old positions are being traded for new positions, in addition to other slow buying of the aggressive mutual funds.  Most stonk market declines these days are probably created to collect capital losses. The government creates its own selloffs.

The lion kingdom has managed to be more actively trading during market downturns than upturns, so theoretically more money has gone in during the downturns.  Oil finally dropped to almost as low as where lions sold it off.  Lions only see the long term, but sometimes it's too long.

The lion kingdom walked straight into a spider web for only the 2nd time today, but fortunately it was in the legs.  The 1st time was Cupertino 1979, right in the chest.  Didn't detect anything crawling around in either case.  Later noted holes in the fake mane hair & thought it was eaten by a spider, but it was actually from being poor.  Money kept that marriage alive.

The land as it originally looked.
