What a lion would have done for one of those 3 years ago, when commuting & that model was over $7000.  The day job couldn't afford it, unlike all the other startups.  Sadly, the 2019 macbooks had terrible keyboards & other reliability problems according to Ross Guy.  

Nowadays, it would have no point.  It's so useless, it's proven difficult to spend the $10 on just a 26 pin 1mm pitch FPC connector to build a laptop.  It just needs that connector to have a keyboard.  Battery management can be done with any ADC.  It probably would use a simple LCD for battery management.

The lion kingdom has a mind to replace the faulty MXL7704-P4 in 1 of its raspberry pi's.  At least it feels like the 3V rail isn't getting any power.  It may still be the Broadcom which is bad & shorting the 3V to 0.  There are but 2 other raspberry pi's which function & aren't being used.  Providing 3V from off board would be a good test.  The MXL7704 is another chip which is discontinued, so an off board voltage converter might be the final solution.

These raspberry pi's are but a tiny fraction of the horsepower required for animal tracking, but they would still make a good development machine, someday.


How quickly the stonk market goes from doom to something you have to buy into or miss out on.  The mane reason was England running out of money & quickly restarting quantitative easing.  The lion kingdom doesn't expect a quick restart of quantitative easing in US anywhere near current levels, but it does expect it to restart eventually.  Quantiative easing is definitely not gone for good.  It may be Powell's bluff is going to end sooner than later.

 Finally watched Creepshow, 40 years after rereading the comic book many times by flashlight. The highlight visually might have been the now vintage Apple II which was cutting edge in those days. Nothing utterly terrifying.  Better writing than anything current.  Only slightly deviates from the comic book. The highlight emotionally might have been when after feeding his wife to the warewolf, the now liberated man sits down to doing anything he wants.  The big deviation was the warewolf escaping in the end, while the comic book kept him trapped underwater. The zombies might have been easier on the eyes than the single women. The original comic book is now on archive.org with a 1 hour free trial.  With a 4k monitor, all you need to do is screencap it while turning the pages.  The raw images are very high res but a 4k screencap is still higher than any animal would actually read it in.
