To think the lion kingdom was all set to retire in a $50,000 tiny home 2 years ago & now they're $120,000. There's always using the money for firewood.

News got into the lion kingdom's gootube recommendation keywords, so now there are endless news stories of 1 mass layoff. The industry is nowhere close to 2001 or 2011. Even 10,000 for places like Bezos is nothing. More comparable to a real crisis is 1/2 of Goog or 1/2 of Apple getting laid off & the government would definitely print money like no tomorrow in that case.

The lion kingdom is finding some bosses don't like to get rid of people because it's bad for their ego & they'll reduce benefits to keep everyone around. The next layoff might be an acquisition where the boss is replaced by someone charged with weeding out.

In other news, Facebook finally abandoned its anchor tenant space in 181 Fremont after years of trying to force employees into the office. That building was originally built as their live-work headquarters. Strange how the skyscraper building frenzy of the last boom ended up backfiring the way all skyscraper building booms end, though it was for a non economic reason.

Another 42F run to keep the mane's food frozen.
