The last time this many D's were for sale was the 2001 recession.  Sherman Clay reserved the entire Walnut Creek concert hall as a showroom.  The stage was full of D's & a high pressure salesman.  There might have been another wave of D's in 2011 because the entire Kassman showroom was full of them, but those guys were jerks.  Between the recessions, they were pretty scarce.

It seems the pianos are some of the 1st things to go when top tier home owers need money, but we haven't seen the stonk market crashes of the other 2 events & Calif* is still in a housing boom.  These are coming from the midwest where the return to office mandates really are causing a housing recession.

 What lions think is happening is index funds are earning interest on large treasury positions.  They're putting the interest into stonks to manetain a constant allocation.  It's not millennials pouring money in the stonk market expecting lower interest rates.  Anyways, the next idea was revising the GUI to get rid of the drop shadows, decorations.  The modern trend is flat colors, but the trends have to change every 6 months for these corporations to stay in business. 1 idea that looked good was an apply button in the file dialog which would allow loading files from a bunch of directories or picking 1 file at a time without closing the window.  The trick is most files require building an index.  The file dialog would have to be frozen during the load process or it would have to be locked out of loading again.  It would be a functional but unpleasant experience. The biggest win right now would be repositioning the plugins to the top when there isn't an asset.
