 Paw war went another week with no detectable improvement.  It can recover by walking for a week, but 1 short run & it's back to ground zero.  Started using the Lunas to intentionally aggravate a different section than the EVA's.  Eventually, the paws recover from the EVA sensitized section & the EVA's can be worn while the Luna aggravated section recovers.  The Lunas aggravate a section closer to the toes while the EVA's aggravate a section near the heal.  Not taking vitamin C seems to have promoted more inflammation & in lion minds, accelerated the recoveries.

Furiosa was not a movie to feel good by.  It was definitely another story which could have ended happily if the heroine just shot the old hag in frame 26744, but no. 

Lions spent most of the movie pondering when the heroine would lose her arm. 

 




This was the 1st movie in the Mad Max series which revealed the existence of a promised land.  It was shown in the middle of the wasteland rather than on the coast, as just a lone canyon with some kind of underground spring.  

 The villains somehow discovered the edge of the promised land but lacked the navigational skill to find it again, once the chase began.  It's certainly believable, based on the depiction of a vast, featureless plain shrouded in constant dust storms.

 It was also the 1st movie to show the 3 fortresses of the wasteland.  Virtual sets looked overused & garrish.  They got their 1st mass introduction in the Mandalorian, which still exists on the hard drive.  After that inconspicuous introduction, lighting has been the 1st clue that something is on a virtual set.

At this point in the history of apocalypse movies, lions are satisfied Mad Max is not going to happen.  Progress is going to keep moving upward.  The bronze age collapse was a natural outcome of slavery.  A future collapse might be caused by environmental impact or war & erase 50 years of progress but not enough to imitate the Mad Max series.  Large scale use of electricity has been around for almost 150 years, a short time in lion lifetimes but long for manufacturing.  

We could probably make the technology of the Apollo era fairly quickly after an apocalypse, but not the semiconductors of the last 40 years.

 What lions think is happening is index funds are earning interest on large treasury positions.  They're putting the interest into stonks to manetain a constant allocation.  It's not millennials pouring money in the stonk market expecting lower interest rates.  Anyways, the next idea was revising the GUI to get rid of the drop shadows, decorations.  The modern trend is flat colors, but the trends have to change every 6 months for these corporations to stay in business. 1 idea that looked good was an apply button in the file dialog which would allow loading files from a bunch of directories or picking 1 file at a time without closing the window.  The trick is most files require building an index.  The file dialog would have to be frozen during the load process or it would have to be locked out of loading again.  It would be a functional but unpleasant experience. The biggest win right now would be repositioning the plugins to the top when there isn't an asset.
