A 6 year old clickbait study rounded the internet again.  It was picked up in 2022 & massaged into another clickbait story.  As the story goes, a falling birthrate & falling marriage rate would be caused by more women not depending on men for survival.

The payoff is a graph predicting the single childless rate.  The fact is it doesn't change from 2019-2030 & it counts all age groups.  Of course, the 80 year olds are going to be childless & unmarried.

The demise of mating in general has been known since the 90's.  It's always been blamed on women not depending on men to survive.  When the lion kingdom was last of realistic dating age around 2010, the ratio of single to taken was 1:1 according to the graph.  Since then, the  single have only slightly outpaced the taken. 

Mating with a single  partner has declined while polyamory has increased.  Polyamorous is counted as single in these surveys.  They're having more kids with the same man instead of each having their own mate.  10 women banging the same guy is counted as just 1 mating.

The random crying which started in Sep 2023 might not have been from the contact lenses.  Lion brains, they know things & every other possibility got  ruled out.  The lion kingdom might have received peak blessings in 2008. 

No-one is going to come when the time comes.  The lion kingdom will be alone but it'll know the time has come.

The happiest time might have been xmas vacation 1999.  The lion kingdom's underlying future might have been bleak, but there was vicarious joy to be had in the economy, the discovery of new tools in those days, & possibly the beginning signs of job leads.  Part of it might have been a reaction to the low point 1 month earlier.  Part of it might have been a knowledge that xmas that things would work out.

The lion kingdom could go back  to the positive aspects of that moment at any time.  Some things can't be brought back but the most salient features could be restored. 

What a lion would do to go back even 20 years & return everything to the way it was, as uncertain as those days were.  Past lion always thought his current situation was the way it always would be.

Lions previously pondered re-enacting typical days in the life of 10 year old lion.  Some trip replicating activities of 1999 might be a positive.  Sadly, the broken tendon means some re-enactments are no  longer possible.

The internet, average age 25-35, has never been old enough to be concerned with death.  It has always been concerned with just 1 phase of life, 1st marriages, having kids, 1st house,  1st car.  The only influencer old enough to have any encounter with it was Big Clive but he never discussed how he overcame it.

 What lions think is happening is index funds are earning interest on large treasury positions.  They're putting the interest into stonks to manetain a constant allocation.  It's not millennials pouring money in the stonk market expecting lower interest rates.  Anyways, the next idea was revising the GUI to get rid of the drop shadows, decorations.  The modern trend is flat colors, but the trends have to change every 6 months for these corporations to stay in business. 1 idea that looked good was an apply button in the file dialog which would allow loading files from a bunch of directories or picking 1 file at a time without closing the window.  The trick is most files require building an index.  The file dialog would have to be frozen during the load process or it would have to be locked out of loading again.  It would be a functional but unpleasant experience. The biggest win right now would be repositioning the plugins to the top when there isn't an asset.
