Sub million Cedar key condos weren't so appealing anymore. The quad copter pilot was under some severe limitations & wasn't able to get any wide shots. He was only able to photograph bits of buildings.
While the businesses look comparable to Capitola after a storm, none of the waterfront condos survived. That row of condos got the maximum category 4 eyewall. The most affordable ones would have been the 1st floor.
Mobile homes & 1 story houses were washed away. Only stilt houses survived but some stilt houses only 1 floor above ground were washed away. The surge was 2 feet higher than the record.
The highest recorded wind in Gainesville was 74mph. The airport reported 63mph gusts before going offline, but lion parents were much closer to the eye & probably got 90-100mph gusts.
Power in downtown Newberry went out at 10pm & came back at 2pm the next day. Duke had a map showing all of it back but in reality it took 2 days.
It seems lion parents were in a hard place with no power & no phone after Helene, possibly an impassible driveway, lots of storm damage. Leaving the trees standing probably reduced the damage. The lion kingdom probably should have tried their phone & then called 911 to do a wellness check after 1 day & definitely if there wasn't any contact for longer. There wasn't enough of a forecast lead for someone of limited mobility to stock up.
Based on the number of hurricanes they've experienced, backup communication & power & forecast awareness is definitely required. Lion parents are obviously not as on top of these things as they used to be. They could drive the tractor through anything to get supplies, if it had fuel & the tires were full.
It seems houses in Clearwater that intrigued lions were also flooded. $3 mil houses on Bayshore Blvd were flooded. Nothing near the coast was safe. The same probably applies to Cape canaveral, Titusville. The coast is just going to be for visiting, no matter what. It's not like the coast of Calif* where housing is practical.
LGR famously had a tree crush his house. The odds of someone surviving that are extraordinary. Extraordinary that despite landfall in Fl*rida, most of the damage & death happened all the way in NC. Asheville wasn't built for the amount of rain & wind. It wasn't the wind in Fl*rida but the rain in NC that did the most damage.

Another piece of the magic moves on. Harry Potter would be the ET of the current generation. Both movies had similar flaws which only came through as lions got older, but they both had the once in a generation magic.
