In a parallel universe, the lion kingdom ran the MCM today.  The weather was pretty good.  In reality, it was a painful 13 miler in a 63 mile week.  By mile 10, the posterior tibialis tendon was having none of it so there was much walking. 

There was a vision of 1 more drive to LA & 1 more drive to Vegas to run races.  Doesn't look like the post tib is going to be there.

Reviewing more of the Chopin Mallorca fiasco, the only pieces he seemed to finish during that time were the preludes.  He might have been working on Ballade #2 there but didn't finish it.  He was in Mallorca from Oct 1838-Feb 1839 & only had a piano for a couple weeks between Jan & Feb.  Another source said he finished Ballade #2 in Dec 1838 in Mallorca.  It's the lion kingdom's least favorite ballade.

George Sand had 2 kids with a 1st husband.  The son hated Chopin because he was in competition to be the patriarch.  Chopin got along with the daughter & might have had an affair.  Chopin & George broke up in 1846, after 8 years. 

She was under 5ft tall, so befitting the description of the attainable who had to work for a living.

 What lions think is happening is index funds are earning interest on large treasury positions.  They're putting the interest into stonks to manetain a constant allocation.  It's not millennials pouring money in the stonk market expecting lower interest rates. High interest rates are pushing up stonks like the 90's.  Millennials are taking money out of the stonk market to buy houses & pay their mortgages.  Important reminder that lions would only barely get by & be fairly unhappy if they retired now, drained their savings to buy a house, & couldn't afford a lot of things they hoped to have.  Lions don't expect to have the coordination required to play it, when the time comes.  Maybe they could just play chords.  Would definitely have to learn how to tune it & regulate it.  Don't kid yourself.  US is a 1 party system.  Unless something is drastically wrong with the 1 campaign, they always vote democrat.  Even as bad as H-Rod was, they still voted for her. Ordering renters to provide $25,000 subsidies to new home owners is basically ordering them to pay what was an entire down payment 20 years ago.  Surely if they could afford these entitlements for home owers, they would have bought houses themselves.  They formerly required the high school dropouts to pay $50,000 in student loan forgiveness to Harvard graduates. Calif* requires renters to provide a $150,000 subsidy to new home owners or about the total cost of a house 20 years ago.    Amerikans just want the Calif* way of life for all.  If you don't like how wealth is redistributed from poor to rich in Calif*, you're not going to like the rest of US. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Reviewing past stonk po

 Anyways, the next idea was revising the GUI to get rid of the drop shadows, decorations.  The modern trend is flat colors, but the trends have to change every 6 months for these corporations to stay in business. 1 idea that looked good was an apply button in the file dialog which would allow loading files from a bunch of directories or picking 1 file at a time without closing the window.  The trick is most files require building an index.  The file dialog would have to be frozen during the load process or it would have to be locked out of loading again.  It would be a functional but unpleasant experience. The biggest win right now would be repositioning the plugins to the top when there isn't an asset. The lion kingdom considered applying to FUTO for a grant.  The problem is there are so many forks, so many animals who expect a cut even if their contribution never worked, so many animals who would expect a cut for a feature idea in the future which they may or may not ever creat
