The lion kingdom suspects there will be concessions & a Korean style stalemate, manely because the separatist regions were already gone before the war. The war seems to be over now. The only remaneing fighting is what was already being fought over since 2014. The difference since 2014 is Ukraine is using the invasion as a pretext to import weapons.
The internet doesn't seem to know if the separatist regions really want to be part of Russia or if the idea is another Putin myth. By calling them separatist regions, the media implies they don't want to be part of either country.
The hot air temperature readout on the 852D had been dead for many years. The problem was traced down to either the LED panel or the unmarked, 20 pin, analog to BCD converter. The temperature control is a 2 channel linear pot. 1 output goes to the thermostat. The other output goes to an analog to BCD converter to drive the LED panel. It is quite a complicated BCD converter, controlling 2 3 digit LED panels from 2 analog inputs. The range is 100-500 for each panel. The input voltage range is 0-6V for each panel. There's no connection between the panels & the thermostats. Presumably, both thermostats go from 100-500.
The decision was made to have the hot air pot control the soldering iron LED panel & cover up the hot air LED panel. Seeing the hot air temperature now requires turning on the soldering iron to turn on the soldering iron LED panel. The soldering iron connector has been taped over to retire it. It hadn't been used in many years because its cable was too short for anything. It might have been last used before the dual soldering station. It would only be used now for a 3 pawed animal or if there wasn't enough time to change tips.
There are ways to replace the unmarked BCD converter with a microcontroller & resurrect both LED panels. The easiest solution would be putting in a 240x320 display & retiring both LED panels.
