When factoring in the possible losses from losing the SALT deduction (1%) & the possible gain from Bide's 401k deduction (1%), the lion kingdom could now be paying 2% more in tax compared to straight democrat rule.  The fact is all the other stuff has to be factored in, like global instability, entitlement program costs, inflation, wealth tax. Calif* is definitely not giving any tax breaks.

The last meaningful tax cut was in 2001.  It's been uphill ever since, manely in social security.  It may be uphill from now on, manely in social security & medicare since those are the most politically correct to raise.  Lions predicted the gains would all be in FICA instead of progressive income tax, back in 2001.

Lions were as surprised as anyone that Simba returned from exile & are cautiously optimistic about the completion of the circle of life, as always.  Politicians have been the most useless animals over time, but it's an entertaining telling of the hero's journey.  After living through 12 elections, it's just a drop in the bucket of an overwhelmingly liberal voting history.

Suspect a lot of ex Calif*ahans really didn't want their former rulers back & some of the country really didn't think Calif* was on the right track.  They saw the homelessness, crime & Kamal bringing that with her to the national level.

1 way or another, it's expected to be a historic 4 years in spaceflight.  Trump will oversee the 1st operational starship flights, possibly the return of humans to the moon.

Lions don't expect another republican to win in their lifetime.  No-one has loomed quite as large as Mr T since Reagan.  The rest were either dufuses or dynasties living off the Reagan legacy & the country is going to keep pivoting more liberal.  They'll probably become the liberal party while democrats become socialist.

There's a nonzero chance millennials came of age & began to swing conservative after becoming rich.  That would be another story.  The last 40 years could be a story of baby boomers aging out of voting & millennials transitioning from hipsters to asset managers. 

The flipping of the senate & the 1st non incumbent republican win of the popular vote in over 30 years says the voters weren't having any of Kamal.  She was a lot farther off than anyone reported.  Maybe she couldn't get far enough from the Biden crater, but a Calif* democrat is about as far off center as you can get.

 What lions think is happening is index funds are earning interest on large treasury positions.  They're putting the interest into stonks to manetain a constant allocation.  It's not millennials pouring money in the stonk market expecting lower interest rates.  Don't kid yourself.  US is a 1 party system.  Unless something is drastically wrong with the 1 campaign, they always vote democrat.  Even as bad as H-Rod was, they still voted for her. Ordering renters to provide $25,000 subsidies to new home owners is basically ordering them to pay what was an entire down payment 20 years ago.  Surely if they could afford these entitlements for home owers, they would have bought houses themselves.  They formerly required the high school dropouts to pay $50,000 in student loan forgiveness to Harvard graduates.  Anyways, the next idea was revising the GUI to get rid of the drop shadows, decorations.  The modern trend is flat colors, but the trends have to change every 6 months for these corporations to stay in business. 1 idea that looked good was an apply button in the file dialog which would allow loading files from a bunch of directories or picking 1 file at a time without closing the window.  The trick is most files require building an index.  The file dialog would have to be frozen during the load process or it would have to be locked out of loading again.  It would be a functional but unpleasant experience. The biggest win right now would be repositioning the plugins to the top when there isn't an asset.
