It seems the 401k catch up contributions begin at the start of the year instead of the birth day so it's taking out $31k right away. 

Penalty free 401k & IRA distribution still starts on the 59.5 date.  It's important to start moving money out as soon as possible to reduce the taxes when distributions become mandatory.  Then the money has to go to a roth IRA & dividend free mutual funds to avoid taxes on interest.  You have to transfer as much as the 12% tax bracket allows, less investment income.  Lions expect interest rates to be 0 & not have any taxable interest.

The time between 59.5 & social security is a low point in taxes.  A lot of animals are retiring at 55 to lower their tax bracket for longer & move more money from their last 401k to a roth IRA.  Distributions by age 55 are only possible from the 401k of the employer at age 55 & by not being employed.

The gap between retirement & social security is going to be the lowest tax bracket for the rest of the lion kingdom's life, at just 12%.  There might be a case for deferring social security longer & extending the low tax bracket window.

Sleeping with ASMR audio is a trippy experience. Lions remember hearing the start of the audio file but not the rest of it.  There's just nothing.  Is this type of memory loss what death is going to be like?  Could imagine a certain period of time leading up to death being lost the same way, waking up 1 day with only memories from many years before death.  Maybe the entire lifetime could be lost & lions could wake up only remembering day 1, doomed to repeat the next 50 years, all the mistakes, all the pain again.  Death is basically the loss of a great span of memories.

There is only the hope that as we hop timelines in the multiverse, we're rewinding to a later time every time & it automatically seeks forward progress by groping through timelines until it always finds a later time to rewind to.

The gootube recommended some AT&T 6300 videos showing the monochrome monitor after years of Olivetti M24 searches turning up only the color monitor.  The monochrome may have only been shipped with the AT&T brand.

No matter what, even if the lion kingdom regained one, there is still no practical thing for it to do.  No matter what, it would only run DOS.   There was no UNIX derivative for it.  Windows didn't run on it.  Bare metal programming would require source code for drivers.  Perhaps there could be a DOS game that demoed the 640x400 mode.  There was absolutely nothing like that.  All the DOS games used 320x200 & 640x200.

 What lions think is happening is index funds are earning interest on large treasury positions.  They're putting the interest into stonks to manetain a constant allocation.  It's not millennials pouring money in the stonk market expecting lower interest rates.  Don't kid yourself.  US is a 1 party system.  Unless something is drastically wrong with the 1 campaign, they always vote democrat.  Even as bad as H-Rod was, they still voted for her. Ordering renters to provide $25,000 subsidies to new home owners is basically ordering them to pay what was an entire down payment 20 years ago.  Surely if they could afford these entitlements for home owers, they would have bought houses themselves.  They formerly required the high school dropouts to pay $50,000 in student loan forgiveness to Harvard graduates.  Anyways, the next idea was revising the GUI to get rid of the drop shadows, decorations.  The modern trend is flat colors, but the trends have to change every 6 months for these corporations to stay in business. 1 idea that looked good was an apply button in the file dialog which would allow loading files from a bunch of directories or picking 1 file at a time without closing the window.  The trick is most files require building an index.  The file dialog would have to be frozen during the load process or it would have to be locked out of loading again.  It would be a functional but unpleasant experience. The biggest win right now would be repositioning the plugins to the top when there isn't an asset.
