Onward & upward. 77% in 3 years but that's what it takes to subsidize 3 to 1 government debt to GDP.  The fed is going to keep it going as long as they have something to offset it with.

 What lions planned to do after retiring has long been either what they did during summer vacations in the 80's or vacations from 1997-2000.  Lions have pondered what made 1997-2000 the happy time.  The prime factors were just developing software, but lions did that for their career & it was not as rewarding for a boss.

Building useful audio video software, useful audio electronics, & having an erratic schedule to suit whatever the immediate need was were key factors.

At a lower level, there has to always be a big thing lions are making.  It was solving what lions saw as the most valuable problems, making what lions saw as the most valuable things, gaining some capability that no-one else had, & doing it for far below the market price.  It wasn't the ability to do nothing.  The emphasis was on making things.  What lions have seen as most valuable has never been what any boss or economy did & that would be the difference between retirement & work.

Another factor might have been the consistent weather & daylight hours.  It was warm & hot, never a prolonged cold or rain event. Days never got extremely short.  If it was too hot, just go out at night.  Not having a schedule made the heat less of a problem.  Lions believe never being cold was a big plus.

Lions don't believe they'll have the mobility to play an instrument or run anymore.  There were ideas of having a big man cave with a large piano, but very aspirational.  Lions probably wouldn't have the stomach to make such a large investment in an instrument & not even a house if low income options were available.  The house situation depends on many unknowns.

The multiverse has very certain implications.  It basically means you can never spend down your retirement funds because you're never going to die in your frame of reference.  If finances indeed determine our lifespan, we may all end up becoming the richest animals on Earth or working forever in our frame of reference.

We might also forever die & wake up at past points with no memory of what we already lived through.  We might already have died many times.  It would be more optimistic if we kept going forward.

 Another run up & down the mountain with new lugs on the sandals.  Definitely hitting glucose depletion during the downhill.  Taking glucose makes an immediate dent in the cramping.  Needed 3 clif blok packages.  Took 1 at a time, as needed for cramping or hunger.  Didn't have any other food besides eggs 10 hours earlier.

 Took the leaky nathan with the full cap.  Only needed to refill at the south gate & the summit.  It managed to not leak it all out, by being held upright.

 


 

 

It was the lion kingdom's 1st ascent in winter & boy was it easier without wind.  The temperature inversion was quite intense.  Shirts were overrated in winter, no matter how cold the start was.  Was less beat up after that than any previous outing.  It might have been the pullups, the marathon training, or the cold.

More generously walked up the ascents than previous outings, yet finished faster than any previous outing. The last outing was 3/26/22 & a hair slower.  

Finding a way to run up the mountain was an obsession for a much younger lion.  He once tried getting in from blackhawk soccer field & long searched for an entrance from the celebrity neighborhoods.

Young lion finally found an entrance on Diable Lakes Ln.  Young lion started there at least 3 times, the 2nd time was on the gootube & the 3rd time was a busted night ascent.  It was a very posh neighborhood & young lion pondered what it would be like to wake up there in the shadow of the everlasting hills.  Lions would only start there again manely for nostalgia.

 The athenian school starting point seems equally as painful, considering the amount of driving.  Younger lion didn't know about the big old parking lot for many years.  Diable Lakes Ln was shorter but entailed more driving & had no guarantee of any parking spaces. 

 Developing a sandal light enough yet grippy enough was always the item blocking more ascents & now the problem feels just about cracked.

    It was time to take on the lion kingdom's 1st 1 star movie.    Amusing that Grok applied an IPv6 style pseudo header to the computation of an IPv4 ping packet, even though IPv4 doesn't use the pseudo header.       Another Grok error was in a basic TCP demonstrator.  To avoid a TIMED_WAIT on the server blocking the port, you have to exit the server without closing the socket.   These errors take a lot more time to track down than doing it the old way.  It might be fixed in paid versions of Grok.  Finally tracked down the Sun bootloader font from many decades ago & put it in Cinelerra as gallant12x22.  Put Sun Gallant Demi into the goog to get useful results. https://github.com/dim13/gallant/tree/master/ttf   It's a fixed point font in an archaic format.  Some guy converted it into a TTF with a lot of antialiasing.  He has a PNG image showing no antialiasing.  It has to be set to size 22 & requires a threshold to get rid of the antialiasing.  Freetype might be shifting it 1/2 pixel vertically. It had a kind of curiosity value, but lions have had no need for any fixed point fonts besides the 24pt Sony of CAEDM fame. Another hit said it was 1 of the fonts available in kernel framebuffer mode.  Lions haven't used kernel framebuffer mode in decades.  It could possibly replace 24pt Sony if lions wrote a fixed point converter.
