The old rose house in Titanic was in Ojai, CA in the script. The filming location was never given. It was probably a movie set in Baja. It would have been expensive to stage an existing house with all that stuff. It wouldn't be a retirement destination.
The vanwives baja saga was pretty bleak. Lots of difficulty importing water, having stuff disappear, organizing construction labor, getting approved, navigating bad roads, finding reliable storage. The quality of what they show getting built down there is pretty low. They have to repeatedly change storage units as places constantly go out of business, end up with shady landlords, or the government just takes stuff. It doesn't sound like they're going to finish it.

Switching to a marginally better government,
While there were many videos of the superbowl flyover, they all lost focus when the afterburner sound hit their cameras. The best shot of the afterburner was a practice run the night before, when the sky was darker. What we could build 40 years ago looked completely alien.

The best view might have been from the playing field, but try as lions might, no completely clean copy of the broadcast made it out. There was a phone video of a TV & a partial copy of a stream.

The singing part finally made it into the algorithm, 18 hours later. This one cut the afterburner out.
Also noted they now teleprompt the lyrics. Still extremely underwhelming compared to Huey Louis or Van Sideburn.

There was a heavily processed photo of the cat face. The sniper pod stayed on for the flyover.
The best shots might have been from baylands park in Sunnyvale. Lions wouldn't dare challenge the traffic down there. 237 apparently wasn't moving.

Lions pondered revisiting the Khachaturian Toccata again, after listening to the Roentgen Toccata. They sounded similar.
Lions actually memorized it & performed it once. There was a sound recording, but the recording was lost. Recall it sounding pretty good in the recording, despite young lion not being very partial to it. Didn't find it very hard to play. The Lazar Berman recording lost something. Still wonder if lions could bring some more life to it.

Continuing the ILM saga, Disney dropped another peek inside the Kurasawa Dubbing Stage & their other preview room, complete with pyramid head statues.
Hard life, being the hippie hottie spending a full day manning the console while the alpha male producers in the back guzzle their vodka & bark orders. She's definitely got a pension. That many women wouldn't be there if it was a mom & pop startup plan.
As mythical as it is, that gear is at least 20 years old now. Those ancient Dell monitors still have DVI inputs. Lions couldn't stand those bare bones Dell mice. It's frozen at the moment the money stopped flowing to formal production & shifted to run & gun vloggers.

had another shot of the pyramid head theater, looking back. It's no 1930's movie palace, but still one of a kind.
The walls are probably all fabric & the mane purpose of all the baffles is probably damping echos. Lions will never own any rooms like those or any house like the skywalker victorian in a vast empty field.
